stupid question? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I'm running windows Me and I just wanted to know how to make it so that the text under the desktop icons do not have boxed colour for a background. I went into the display-> appearance and was not able to get rid of it. (it won't allow me to have no colour selected. One of you must know how to fix this, right?

When I download a new skin How do I get it to work. When I try to add it nothing happens. I only have the free version of winblinds is this why I can't add any skins?
