I'm a win 7 64 bit guy and directx11 runs great! No issues at all! Civ V is a MUCH better game at this point, there is no comparison. What happens in the future I can't predict but I sure am expecting a lot as elemental thus far has fallen way short of what I have come to expect from stardock. That being said, I love their support....I just dont think from purchase to finished/fun game the timeline should be months. Civ V is fun NOW!

Well, I had the Elemental beta for months and was 1000% behind it, but CIV 5 is hands down better if you have a PC to handle it. Cool, but PLEASE fix the bug where a town doesn't understand when to level up. ie: "Your town will reach the next level when population reaches 0" That cant be a hardware issue thats a general coding issue!

No matter how you build reg, you CANNOT skip scope 1 (it should be one of the 1st 3 skills learned). Reg needs space as he is relatively squishy and should not be toe to toe, he needs the range advantage (and with many DGs it IS an advantage..if you play well you can get more shots in on your oppenent than he does on you, at least early in the game (especially if you have your tower to duck behind.). Not to mention not putting yourself out of tower range makes no sense at all. &nb

Don't choose one because they are ahead lol....if possible for what you can play...choose the one behind. It will increase the chances of a non AI game ... it sucks when everyone looking for a game is on either light or dark. Either a game can't start or its non competitive.

This probably means nothing but..... After GalCiv(s), SOASE and DemiGod I have unyielding faith that you will produce a fun game that is fresh. There is no way I would pre-order any game from any company other than stardock...you guys have been THAT good (with the exception of perhaps releasing Demigod too early). I just pre-ordered and am confident that it was the right decision. Thank you stardock for the many hours of fun you provide!!!!!!

Stupid Pantheon Rankings in Demigod Demigod Forums

K so somehow at 26-4 I am in over 550th place and a guy is 8-7 in 14th....... I realize it goes by experience but it seems obvious to me some people are getting ridiculous amounts through bugs...I also see many instances of like1000xp in 5 games..... There has got to be a better way....it takes the overall competitveness out of it, the rankings are not reflecting play..there but be some lame XP farming or bugs..... .

Interesting thanks. I find hard isnt that hard but nightmare would come down to the suggestions above. Perhaps this will improve with updates to make AI better. And those who just comment to criticize forum choice....seriously...get a life.

Okay I'm wondering what this means and what I should do..... Often when trying to join skirmish, it shows I am connected to a bunch of players but it kicks me back to where I can hit the "fight" button. I am still showing as connected to the players. If I leave it at this point will the game ever start or do i have to hit fight and let it do its thing?
