Okay, I have a Toshiba Satellite P755-S5215 With Win7 SP1, 8GB RAM, etc. and plenty of Stardock software. When I read about the WindowFX gallery and the ability to extract animation scripts into the scripts folder for WindowFX 5, I decided to give this a try with the "genie" animation. Sure enough, this appeared in the WindowFX 5 animation dialog box. As soon as I selected the Genie animation, however, Windows Explorer started crashing over and over again: as soon as it would restart, it woul

I picked this up right away, what a great buy! [e digicons][/e] One question, though, is there some way I'm not seeing to adjust the shadow size. I mean, it's great and all that I can make the cursor bigger, but it's just weird that the shadow is then smaller than the object supposedly casting it.

Umm... I'm not miffed about the lack of an exact date. Also, I missed the thread you referenced (and had posted my Nov. 18th question on the original WindowFX5 announcement thread). Sorry. If I was miffed, it was due to the lack of a simple yes/no answer regarding the existence of progress. Nobody owes me anything, I get that, and I respect all the hard work the folks at Stardock do, but a simple, super-short courtesy answer would have been nice. That's all. One more thing, th

I am also unclear about how animated explorer backgrounds would link to WindowFX5. Perhaps what is meant is the ability to choose something like a Deskscapes animated wallpaper for the explorer background (instead of as the desktop wallpaper)? That would be really cool, especially if it could be faded in the same manner as the textured explorer backgrounds available through Windowblinds (otherwise explorer window contents would probably be unreadable). Doesn't seem like WindowFX5 would be

What I would really like to see in this already great program is a slider for each animation to individually adjust animation speeds. Also, another great minimize/restore animation would be to have the window appear to twist around/flip over on the vertical axis as it moves to/from the taskbar. Most issues with the first beta seem to be resolved on my system, yet I am still having to restart my laptop after it it goes into hibernation, as it doesn't come out of this sta

Are you using ObjectDock 2.0? If so, just open ObjectDock configuration, click on "Position," then, under the heading "More Options," click on "Change distance from edge." That will bring up a slider to adjust the position to your liking.

1st of all, leftests are like the opposite of fascists. Really? Read Jonah Goldberg's Liberal Fascism (a term coined by liberal author H.G. Wells as praise, not criticism, by the way), then try to seriously claim that leftists are like the opposite of fascists. He (and Glenn Beck, BTW), correctly point out how early 20th century liberals, aka progressives, were quite enamored with fascism in general and Mussolini in particular. <

Because leftists and democrats read books, instead of watching TV or listening to the radio.[/quote] You're pretty funny. That must explain why conservative authors have also been destroying liberal authors in book sales. I'm sure the New York T
