I had a smartexception log saved, but it disappeared. Anyways, I was playing 1v1 against a buddy of mine over the Internet, and he decided to quit, so it lagged a couple of seconds while the game compensated for his leaving by replacing him with an AI. So then I hit Shft-Tab to open up the overlay, and then all of a sudden just before it got a chance to load, it crashes. I read real quick there was some sort of memory access violation. So I go to copy the SmartException

I was playing a game of ToA (actually my first one after buying the DA/TA packs) and once I got a few turns in the game started to flash black and revert to normal. Sort of like when WMP notifes you that a new song is playing, when it is minimized. Except that this time the icon was in the lower middle section of my screen. So I alt-tab'ed to see if there was some sort of notification that I needed to see, but no such thing. So I alt tab back and I can hear the music but a black screen. I gav
Alright, thanks for the speedy response as usual. Still no reply other than the ticket from them, but it's only been a short while. I'm not worried. Thanks again!
Hey, I've finally bought the Exansion Bundle ("Galactic Civilizations II: Expansion Bundle") using the link given to me in the Stardock Customer Survey Report Thank You e-mail. And so I use Impulse to download and install it and everything, but the error comes up saying that my key is invalid! I'm using the one that is in my confirmation e-mail as well as the exact same one that appeared imediately on Impulse. I'm going to try to send this to <a href="mailto:[email protected]"
Okay, thanks alot, this cleared up things quite well. So I should play on Intelligent then to get a nice challenge while not getting overwhelmed instantly?
Hey, I was wondering about the difference between the difficulty level, and the intelligence. I've been looking around, and I'm still not 100% sure. Thanks! Great game so far! Still haven't gotten the expansions yet. Waiting for the cash. Can't wait though.
Hey guys, thanks for the replies. If I have to get DA, then I will certainly go and pick them both up. Once again, thanks for the answers and CrazyC0330, I can already tell that the Stardock aftersale support is superb. You don't need to worry about that. PS fivebErgs. =D Thanks
Hey there, I'm new here and I'm really impressed with the quality of Stardock's games, and the community here. I own the original Galactic Civ 2, and even though I don't play it all that often at all, I was looking into buying the TotA expansion. Then I realized that there was the DA expansion and I was wondering if I should bother buy DA. Any help would be appreciated. Fivebergs
Hey, I'm fairly new to this forum so please be kind =D. I recently looked at the modding section and I saw a whole slew of randomizers. While I understand the basic concept, what exactly does it do? Or is it possible to undo the changes after I run the installer? I just don't want to lose any data on my game. So pretty much what I'm asking is if anyone could tell me what exactly they do, and could it corrupt anything? Thanks, sorry if it's unclear.
Hey your email doesnt seem to work
