Just want to say thanks for a really great mod(s). Really impressive. Though I have two questions. 1) The Advent Defend Laser structure cost 1000 credits. Is that on purpose or a bug? 2) Will there be a "normal tech tree" version of the mod for people who like a quick 1v1/2v2 small map? regards Thilock

I think it's a good idea if the pirates can capture a damage Battleship, if they can't create themselves. As other people have pointed out; At the current state the pirate doesn't pose any threads in the mid-/late-games. I don't even bother checking when a pirate party hits one of my planets, as it's for now. What I really like to see on the pirate AI enhancement side; * Pirates avoiding battles with starbases It's totally suicide mission fo

Use Frostwire instead Limewire if you don't want to pay for a P2P client. It's exactly the same. Frostwire is a fork of Limewire (Open Source). But it's recommendable to use torrents instead. It's more reliable. Also use a lightweight client for bittorrent like utorrent as Azureus is a big resourcehog and a bit buggy also. Just use these applications for legal stuff. If you don't want to pay for stuff I suggest find free alternatives, there's alot of good alternatives out
lol fenrisulven I was afraid to post my Ubuntu desktop here
Well, there's nowhere it says it have to be Windows screenshots. It says "Desktop Screenshots" and I uses both OSs and then I posted both of them. Sometimes I post my Windows screenshot at a Linux forum with my Linux Screenshot. Other than that no harm is done ;)
Leauki ....it's a wonder someone didn't thump you with something decidedly hard and heavy for that one....Probably because the suggestion was serious and the person asking the question realised it and others didn't want to turn this into a flamewar?I find Mac OS an excellent compromise between the GUI-ness of Windows and the UNIX-ness of Linux.
Fixed! :d

I have the quite opposite experience regarding driver quality. As for which card got the upperhand it switch all the time, so it doesn't matter IMHO. They'll always spit out a new card out to be "number 1".

If you don't mind pay a little penny I'll say McAfee. It also comes with Firewall build-in and other handy tools in one so you don't have to install multiply security apps which can take up precious horse-power of you PC. Norton is an OS killer, not recommeneded. So many have their system destroyed :-/

As a longtime user of both OSs (both Desktop and servers). I'll say Gnu/Linux. The stability and security is unmatch (only BSD have higher security but kinda lacks of apps compared to Gnu/Linux). With Linux you can easely setup a lightweight server with or without GUI (XUbuntu will be a nice choice if you can't live without GUI). Plus it's Free and Open Source. Just note that things are done way diffrently in the world of Gnu/Linux than Windows. If you go Ubuntu/Xubuntu Linux I can

I´m currently downloading the new version of skin browser so I can´t comment or apply the bugs other users are telling. But one of the bugs I have with the 0.xx version was/is : Every time I have the windows that popup so you can see the skins in large format, then I change skins on the skinbrowser, the skinbrowser starts to scroll down to the buttom and it wont stop even if I try to click on the the first skins of the skinbrowser etc. etc. I can only look through the skins if I close the la
