Transparency in Windows 7 WinCustomize Forums

I can apply WindowBlinds but nothing with transparency. Control panel just shows windows 7 Basic no matter which theme I apply. I've even tried booting without WindowBlinds and just installing the Windows 7 Themes. No transparancy. Is something wrong with Aero?

I HATE it! I used to be able to view 100 skins at a time...now only 60 ma x and it's a real pain to set the filters over and over.

When the Kindle first came out the price was $400. It has since dropped to $259. When I travel I used to take as many as 10 books with me, now I can take as many as 1500 without taking up any room in my suitcase...PLUS I can adjust the size of the print so I can actually SEE what I'm reading. Plus I can get free samples of anything I'm remotely interested in AND get reviews online of anything I'm considering buying. Was it worth the price? DUH!

Yes, there certainly are exceptions but the VAST majority of WindowBlinds are dark [e digicons]:thumbsdown:[/e] And unfortunately, it's almost impossible to colorize a skin that's either white or black (at least *I* don't know how). *HINT*.

I keep getting a message: Impulse has encountered a problem and needs to close. I try to send the error report to Stardock but that also encounters an error. I uninstalled and reinstalled Impulse and I continue to get the same error. What now?

My problem is a little bit different. When I try to use the free version of Cursor FX my cursor completely disappears. If I'm lucky I can log off and that solves the problem, but MANY times I just have to do a cold reboot which I know is not good for my computer. Does this also happen in the paid version? BTW, it never happened with Cursor XP but that's no longer available .

I think the whole concept of penalty points for non-Vista icon themes is unfair. Unless it was part of the original rules they should have had separate categories for XP and Vista icons. Vista is dead and will soon be replaced by Windows 7. I saw a lot of wonderful icon packages that effectively will be disqualified from winning because they don't include Vista support and that is VERY unfortunate.

My desktop just totally died and I was able to completely restore it with ShadowProtect Desktop Edition. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny. Top choice by CNET. I also use SeondCopy to backup personal files to an external drive. Don't try doing back-ups on the cheap.
