Reply to New copy protection comming for Spore and Mass Effect (EA) in PC Gaming Sins Forums

i have the downloaded version of mass effect from EA and not once has it asked me for the serial key or to verify any information to play. The only metion of it is for the downloadable content that is coming soon to the PC thats out on Xbox already, to download it you have to register your serial like you do with sins to download the patches so its not so bad well at least for the download version anyway.

it should work i think but to be sure you can download the free sins demo to try it out. Just make sure your gfx card drivers are upto date as some cards had issues with the old drivers and sins though it seemed to be more of a nvidia problem.

click the thumbs up icon at the bottom left hand corner of the person you want to give karma's post Karma is like a thanks for the help button where you can leave a nice comment for someone if they were nice and helped you :) so if one of the sins team is really helpful for example give them some karma to say thanks.

The 3 activations is stupid, PCs have to be upgraded with the latest tech once in awhile to keep up with the newer games that have better and better graphics. I almost cancelled my pre order of spore over this, the system they were proposing was as bad if not worse than star
