boarding sounds a nice idea to me. maybe when you board a capship there sould be a small chance of disabling shields specials or weapons or engines or something along those lines. I think the vasari would use captured ships to bolster their ship numbers since they lack ships and they are expensive. The advent could use a form of mind control or brainwashing to seize ships. And the TEC would use plain old brute force and firepower to take a ship
