"First, you need to install Microsoft DreamScene from the Windows Update. Then you need to install Stardock DeskScapes. http://dream.wincustomize.com" Yeah....I know....I did that Or did my post go totally unread? anyways, I've got the problem fixed, so it don't matter anymore.

Ok, so I installed dreamscape(s) and then was told that i needed to install dreamscene, and i did, rebooted, and still wouldn't work. All i got was a preview of dreamscene. is there a full version?

I would like to have a personalized Bootskin, and Logon screen made to match my wallpaper that one of my friends made for me. I'll supply the image for this task. But I want the images as they are, nothing added, aside from a matching progress bar for the Bootskin, and a Transparent Black (or white) splash screen for the logon. Thanks to anyone that takes on this task. This is the link to the picture I want used. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w37

How do I create/edit logon screens with the splash sceens, and all that? I can do it with Logon Studio, but It's only that crappy (no offence to those that like them) thing edited one with the Windows default logon screen. thanks to anyone that helps.

Ok, well, I have no idea what I did wrong, or what I did right this time, but whatever it was, I got it working right, thanks for everyones help, and time to help me get this thing working. Here's my bootskin.ini file, for sydneysiders (or anyone that wants to copy the file, and change what they need to change. [BootSkin] Type=0 Name="Skullboot" Author="Malicious Dreamz" Description="My Bootskin" ProgressBar=SkullProgress.bmp ProgressBarX=265<b

I made the files all the right size, and right format, and copied right out of the book (Hacking Windows XP by Steve Sinchak.)What the bootskin.ini file was supposed to say, but it still didn't work. this isn't my first time making a bootskin, just my first in a really long time. I used to have an account on here, my nick was A c I d B u R n. I've made a couple diff. boots (not well, mind you) and a logon, but i don't think I uploaded that to the site.

If anyone could make it for me, I would be in their debts for a long ass time, cause i really want this boot skin. this is the image i want to use, it's not in the correct file format, or size with this, but you get the point http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q129/jeffhxc06/Skullboot.jpg

Ah, ok thanks guys. And the ")" thinger was the ending of my little rant up there. Thanks again, and yeah, it said that, in this book I own, but I didn't think anything of it.

And yes I realize I made a typo in that (where it says "my noot skin". It's supposed to say boot skin, but i was typing a bit too fast. -Malicious Dreamz-

First off, I'm not too sure as to where this post should be, so if I posted in the wrong place, sorry, and please move it. (Tell me where it's been moved to, if it does get moved, so I can keep tabs on teh replies.) Second, I just made my first bootskin in a really long time, and I can't figure something out... I've made everything and saved the file as Skullboot.bootskin, but it won't come up in my BootSkin program, and I have no idea as to why it won't show up so I can use it.<br
