i *believe* some of the "issue" with this, can be found in the description of the Stellar Cartography tech. That habitable worlds are now visible to the Player. It is possible, though I can't prove it atm, that there was coding put into place that Stellar Cartography would allow for the knowing of where habitable worlds are, but somehow lost for the Human player, but still in play for the AI. Could explain it. Of course, I'd have to test an AI that does not have S.C.

I'm just proud of my Boilers doing as well as they did; but that game vs UConn was pretty sad to watch. I hate MSU, but of course have an obligation to root for my fellow Big Ten team. So GREEN AND WHITE BABY!

@CL: well actually....i was never in the Gerontocracy; too young :p Not that I didn't get along well with quite a few of them, but then...I've never really had issues with anyone either.

Here's an easy way to get someone to Declare War on you so you don't take the Diplo hit (instead they get the penalty) park some transports near their planets. they won't like it. do enough posturing and they'll declare war since they "know what you are doing". voila, no hit to yer diplo and you already have ships in place to conquer their worlds. how deliciously evil.

btw, if anyone wants to know the real reason I came back to the forums, I'm mad that I no longer am one of the leaders in Karma, and I plan on rectifying that grave injustice. [e digicons]^_^[/e]

Unfortunately, a quick search of the threads doesn't show any consistent pattern to what gets "Hot Post". That they all have high number of replies is a certainity, but for example there are some Off Topic threads that are considered Hot Post, while others with more replies are not. I believe that its a combo of a threshold of certain replies, and then number of replies in a given time frame, but I can't say this definitively.

well it won't flag or anything. and i know that many of the ZYW players will set their relations to some known status so that they can make contact (and thus start trading for money) after the initial 8? weeks are up (usually, but not always, you can't communicate before then)
Expert/veteran players contend that it was just the description that was wrong, and that it was "supposed to" give the +100% economic bonus, but the bottom line is that the MCC is a planet flipper now. Try it with the Korath tree and Super Diplomat.
As the one that let SD know exactly what was wrong with the MCC, I can guarantee that it was NEVER supposed to give the economic bonus.&nbs

OK, BSG explained: 1.) The nuke blast on Caprica was far enough away that only the shock wave itself actually hit Baltar's home. Its kinda like yer house being hit by a tornado, its gonna mess things up, and you may end up dead or badly injured but it IS possible to survive. 2.) Ron Moore gave an interview just before the finale aired, stating how he had wished that he would have more time/money for the finale to concretely show that the Cylon colony was b

Lawling at Neilo. No, I was making fun of the trolls that cry about their "entitlement" and "right" to shiny new monster PCs (now you should know what I'm talking about) and those that enter empire threads and yell at entire empire when a simple and more polite post would have settled the matter sooner. Reminds me why I left here in the first place...well that and some major donkey crap in RL And saying I sound like Zyx....well, I guess I'm not the one throwing around in

Silverbeacher: AWOL for two months Forums: still inhabited by fat ugly troll creatures that whine about PCs and throw insults at people cuz they "think" they know, but are in fact completely ignorant. Silverbeacher's Response: Time to go AWOL again. (But gives to ToE his last case of Torian Ale before he disappears again)
It isn't working like i wish it could.
It isn't exactly what I would like either. But that DOESN'T matter. They have ONE guy, just ONE, who I'm sure has other stuff to do too, that can possibly, maybe, help us out depending on the issue. We are NOT getting any code changes or nice new features. We hope that maybe we can get everything that we listed, mostly be medals, making sure

Generally speaking, Information Warfare is one of the best attacks to use, especially once the AI have "established" themselves, as they tend to keep their morale levels right on the cusp. When invading a world that has at least 8 billion, you can usually sap off at least 1000 soldiers, if not 2000. In general, figure 1000 soldiers for every 4 billion above 8. At below 8 billion, figure on about 500. In the end, all you really need is the higher soldiering and tech adv

One year ago on this date, Zeus strode down from Olympus and forged a mighty empire with a sweep of his hand. And quickly it grew, and powerful, reaching the Top 5 on the AltMeta and the Top 10 on the Metaverse. But alas, Fate is fickle, and the cord they had woven was but short. It was measured, and then cut, in what may only be called a blink of an eye. But for a time, the Olympians were to be feared once again.

Known Issues: MV Scoring - While individual players MV scores were updating, Empire scores were not. This was about 1-2 weeks ago, and I haven't checked to see if its been fixed yet, but just in case, there it is. MV UI - MV Empire Senators are "supposed" to have the ability to admit players in Moderated empires. Except no one knows how to do this. Admittedly, this seems more forum related. MV General - It is unknown what or if all the original
