can somone please help me with setting up some addons? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I have windows XP and Windowsblinds.. When I download things such as pointers or icons it comes up as just a plain file once I extract it onto my desk top.. Can somone help me and tell me how I can fix this? Thanks alot ~Iciris
