IT WORKS ! In fact I'm not sure 100% because I do not play more than 10 seconds but no problem anymore to start the french campaign in french. Here is what I did : - fully desinstall everything about galciv2 and stardock, including registry - resintall game from cd - install patch 1.1 then patch 1.2 (previously I bypassed the 1.1) --> make always same crash to windows - backup full french dir - copy the full content of english dir to french dir --> campaign st

Ben non, il est super légal acheté en version française dès sa sortie. Le patch 1.2, en plus de ne pas régler mon souci, met le jeu soit en full-english (version 1.2 téléchargable), soit en french-bancal avec plein de libellés "string not found" si mis à jour via stardock. Shortly in english : patch 1.2 does not solve the problem and drop french language. Thanks again for any help.

Thanks for this idea but it do not solve my case. I try to put averything on the computer in english, even the keyboard, but the problem remain the same. I4ll keep on trying, thanks again

Here are some other info about tricks I tried to solve unsuccessfully the problem : - when crash occur, the computer goes back to windows - disable audio device (from windows device manage cause no disabling is available in bios) - extend pagefile size - try several screen resolutions - remove game, clean registry, drop my games\galciv2 directory, reinstall - if I start a non-campaign mission and drop it, the campaign crashes lately, after the first cine
