yay, i just deleted my mods folder, extracted the GP political parties, started the game, it worked, then extracted the jewl mod and it worked yay! (crosses fingers)
Tennekis
could you put muliltiple mods into that renamed folder and have them work?
could you put muliltiple mods into that renamed folder and have them work?
If I were to extract each mod to different folders within the default one would it work?
Hmm, those mods don't really have folders, some how they both go to the same folders in the default mods directory when extracted so i don't really know.
I downloaded the mod, extracted it to thee default folder, and all the data is there but when I start a small game to test them out they didn't show up in the extras section in the shipyard. I wonder if it has something to do with the other mod I dowloded, the GP political Parties, but his mads seem to organize themselves, so I don't think that's it, can someone help a poor noob?
Thank you, a second question, how do Iput in mods for DA?
My Ideas: 1. The ability to move your capital around whenever you please, after all what self respecting warlord would want to use a level 14 planet way out in the boondocks when he had a perfectly good level 26 planet right in the center of the map at his disposal. 2. More diplomacy, like kicking all other ships out of your space. 3. The ability to rename stars, after all you are you are the boss. 3. More invasion tactics, like maby cyborg soldiers, dis
I have a bunch of custom race logos that work fine with GC2 but they don't show up in DA, am I doing something wrong, or do they need to be in some folder I don't really get it.
Out of couriosity is it possible to run more than one mod at a time
That would be really, really cool, if I could do that I would cede my planets to allies just for fun, It a shame that Stardock is most likely impervious to nagging, otherwise if we could show the idea had a following we could get them to stick it in there in a expansion or somsuuch.
How an I keep my planets from rebeling once I get the warning?
It was just an idea, sir on the edge, I wasn't aware it would be that complicated. Come to think of it, I cannot clam credit for the idea. I am currently reading a military SF series were the capital of the Confederacy of Sentient Beings is on a battleship that orbits a different member planet every year.
Honestly, I thought so too, but it sure as hell would be cool. Can the source code be gotten at? I'm sure it can so you never no, maby so enterprising code mmonkey would do it, unless of course its illegal
I;m not sure if iy's possible but here's my idea. 1. That there be a home system, but with no Civilization Capitol. 2. Have the player start out with a battleship that would serve as a mobile capitol. 3. Have the ship be strong, but if it goes "blooie" as the GNN robot says, you loose. 4. Have the ship confer some mega bonuses to whatever planet it orbits, I would make the mod myself, but sadly the whole thing is a bit beyond me. If somone wo
