My mom recently got a virus and had Norton Internet Security 2007 that she bought for 90 dollars US. She recently also got a virus that Norton let through and then could not get rid of. She downloaded Avast Antivirus Home Edition and it got rid of it and one other that was there. She is going to return Norton for a full refund. GET RID OF NORTON IT SUCKS. AVAST IS GREAT AND STOPS EVERTHING FROMJ GETTING IN!!! www.avast.com
If Henry Ford had of followed that philosophy every one would still be driving black model T's That would actually be a good thing....the 'T' is more economical to run than Ford's current output....and has far less environmental impact.... wtf.
I think that we all are pointed to the pointless end of a pointless pointed forum topic on what you did today that is pointlessly pointed to a pointless end
currently i am a a senior high school student. money is tight since it all goes into college funds and saving for a new car (the one I have is on its last leg). I have always wanted a subscription to this sight, just never could afford one. Not saying the price is too high, just that my paycheck is to low.
the UAC is a total problem for me also. Disabled it 2 hours after using Windows Vista. (to microsofts dismay of course)
The glitches happened to me as well when I was logged it. It must have been a glitch in the system. Bad timing I guest for the other guy.
if you have windows XP why not just use the Windows Firewall. I have not had any problems with it.
I don't plan to switch and I still have XP. Until this computer dies I will have XP.
i have 3.` installed on multi boot with XP and Vista
What program are you talking about.
I own Office 2007 and I will tell you that even running it is amazing. The new interface is awsome. Microsoft has really out done itself with Office and Vista. stablility is great.
You all complain to much. If new software with flaws does not come out and get used. How is it that the coputer industry is going to get any better. It would be stupid to fix software that has no problems
disk cleanup, virus scan, registry defragmenter and checker, defragment, compress to save disk space (if this is avalible in VISTA)
love the idea
I use the Windows XP firewall (it has always found everything) I have Avast!4 Home Edition (and it is free from Alwil Software)
about 131 MD in about 6 months of being here
The date is the only thing that has to be wrong for the thing to get it wrong. At our library there are computers that you can use and I order for me to download Microsoft Software I must do it elseware then the Microsoft web page because the user that is loged in can not change the system date and time.
