Looking forward to the alpha release ... Hopefully they use their own software release it.
My 2 cents on this thread .... JCD-Bionicman isn't going to change is mind on this issue ... An if their is a moderator reading this ... close this thread ... END of LINE ........
I would select ... The Day the Earth Stood Still (made in 1951)
Thanks for the info ... I turned off the antialiasing and the graphics is working now. Time to kill some time .... [e digicons][/e] /\.. Thanks again ...

Here is a screen shot of the graphic issues I'm having with the game. If anyone else ran into this issue can you post a solution for this problem. As it stands the game is unplayable and the only thing I can do is wait for Stardock to resolve this issue.
HI ALL, I've got video card issues too. I've got ATI 5870 with the latest 10.9 drivers and I've got MS Win7 Home Premium Edition 64bit. The system has all the latest drivers for lan, video, sound and all the latest MS patches. I really don't care who's fault it is, I just want to see it get resolved. I don't post in the forums too much, due to I've hardly seen any major issues with Stardocks games. I hate to say, this is
I like the iPad and some of the features it includes, but it still needs a few more items before I would consider getting one. I would say I have 4 issues .... 1. no flash support .. 60% of the web still uses flash for video. 2. no cam, micro SD or usb port. All 3 are a must have before I would get a iPad 3. multitasking support 4. Price is too high ... it should be $120 or more cheaper before I would buy it .. Most
Kazriko:
Windows Mobile already works on ARM. A full fledged Windows 7 would be dog slow on Arm though. The problem with taking Windows 7 to any platform other than x64/x86 would be that any software that isn't .NET would not work...
A version of Windows 7 would need
IMO ... The hardware needs to change .. mother boards need to add a new sleep mode. An a faster POST for desktop and laptop systems. The CPU is getting more cores and the graphics card are getting better. Also, the memory, HDs, optical drives and sound have improved too. Now, they need to improve the POST in desktops and laptops too. Microsoft needs to build a version of Windows for the Arm CPU ... This would change the
I too see the changes coming and the desktop PC taking a back seat. Devices like the iPad and HP WebOS slate will become the main device for accessing emails, web browsing and gaming. The instant on concept is good ... Press a button and in a few seconds your surfing the web, reading a e-book, playing a game .. and a few other things. The PC needs to embrace this concept. I have a fast system, but it still takes 10 seconds t
I still play Starcraft and I'm no sure SC2 is going to sell that well. IMO playing a lan game with friends is a must. SC2 is missing LAN option and having to be logged in to play SC2 in other minus in my book.
I had a similar issue with a pc system I build for a friend. I got the beep code for a bad video card. I replaced the video card and it still was beeping .. So, I then started removing connecting to dvd drives and hds. Still got the error beep for a bad video card .. I replaced the system memory with and did a reboot. It works ... So I put all the system back together and did a new install of the OS and restored the users data. The system is worki
I'm going to wait for the next release of the iPad ... When they add a mic, cam, usb and micro-sd slot ... I'll get one. I'm also, waiting on the HP Slate too .. I figure the slate will have Win7 and I will be able to access servers and do other IT stuff with the HP Slate. I'll find out when its released.
I've played bejeweled an some other Pop Cap games. I purchased Plants vs Zombies when it got released on CD. I play it a few minutes every day to kill some time ... [e digicons]:D[/e]
I would have to say the ATI drivers have improved over the years. On the hardware front ATIs new 5000 series of cards are very good. I've updated 3 of my main systems with the new cards. One system is running MS Vista Ultimate in crossfire. The other 2 are Win7 Home Premium systems. One has a 5890 and the other has a 5770. All the systems have the latest 10.2 drivers. The only systems that have nvidia cards are the linux ones. I still pre
NO... I'll wait for the HP tablet ...
Yes, I like upgrading too .. I just upgraded my CPU to a new AMD AM3 package .. but still use DDR2 memory for the mother board. I've gotten the new AMD/ATI graphics GPU ... ATI 5750 It's a mid-range system. Also, installed Win 7 too ... I got 2 of the family packs in Oct. incase I planned on upgrading my sisters and friends system. Right now, I'm waiting for AMD to release a 6 core desktop .. or a 4 core desktop that can do 2 or 3
I prefer the sandisk clip and the Zune for playing music. The sound from the player is good. If anything, you might need to get better ear buds.
I too will be watching the out come of this game. It looks like it might be fun to play ... If I have some free time I might sign up for a beta spot ....
I would say ... Stargate-SG1 and second is the orginal Star Trek series ....
I've not had a virus issue for the last 2 or 3 years. The only issues I've had was faulty hard drives. I had 2 seagate 500 GB sata2 drives just die on me. The only thing the drives did was make clicking noises. I rma'ed the drives and got replacements. I also, have a Western Digital 250 GB seating on my work bench. Its dead ... the system had a HD issue, myfriend call me saying the system wouldn't boot up. I went to their home and the drive was making</
I'm waiting till Oct. 22, I plan on getting the OEM when its released. I've got a test site running the RC version running and I haven't had any major issues with it. Windows 7 is Microsofts best release .... [e digicons]:D[/e] ... IMHO ....
