I emailed sales twice...1st time 5/8 they said they would let me know when available, 2nd time 6/9 they simply said no beta and refferred me to this thread. No explanation to date of why it was long after the promised 4/24 beta date before they advised of any delay, much less a retraction of their publicly advertised offer (these are public forums and represent a form of advertising). It is highly disappointing that Stardock seems to have prioritized big retailers ahead of there loyal customers. I think alot of us ordered the game under the false promise of a beta. Now with the game scheduled for release 6/16 it would seem preorders could be given early access. I realize there may be some issues with retailers in doing so. But I thought Stardock stood for a new business model. Frankly I dont understand why the working version(s) some were able to download and play werent

There was a post that said preorders would get the beta for Political Machine 2008 4/24 and then another last week indicating should be available this week. Is it possible to get an update on when beta is expected to be available for preorders?

Ok here are some changes from TPM 2004 I would suggest. 1) Add the ability to play games with random polling data, wealth, and electoral vote values in multiplayer. 2) Allow 2 canidates from same party to run against each other. (Think should be easy to allow this to be done). Gives us a way to simulate a primary...at least somewhat. It wouldnt have caucuses and super delegates b
