Click on the starbase/shipyard. Click on the little icon representing your ship. On the right of this small window that is in the bottom left there should now be listed Upgrade, Decommission, Eject Ship, and Details. Click Eject Ship. The ship should appear to the top left of the shipyard/starbase.

There's an allotted time between when a Civ declares war on another Civ and when peace can be declared between the two. What I'd like to know is after this time has elapsed how is the AI programmed/threaded? to respond to loss of planets, cultural borders, starbases, ships, etc. I ask because I've noticed that the AI will not attempt to give you something when it asks for peace, but when you're doing all this destruction and planet take overs the AI still demands a very high p

These were very important to me in this patch: AI less sensitive to maint costs on units (will build larger fleets and raise its taxes) AI more sensitive to not attacking fleets that are substantially stronger Opposing culture matters more over the course of the game Shipyard no remembers the last tab you were on I want to be challenged, please continue to up the AI. The fourth one is also greatly appreciated as was
well, yes, I saw "crash". but usually, they reference CTD and hung games differently, so I wasn't sure. The game usually does not crash, just freezes. I'll just see when it's release [e digicons]:)[/e]
Yes I noticed the distinction too. I guess we'll find out. : )

I haven't used carriers too much since I get frustrated with invasion hangs by the time I get to them, I start a new game. From my little experience, though, once you have carriers any of the game's difficulty is gone. One carrier with 9 of those fighters decimates opposing fleets before they get close to fire a shot. Is that true for you?

I never thought about it. Every game I just research each weapon equally. Same for armor. The AI rarely sends fleets large enough to worry about. The AI almost invariably focuses on missiles so while I do not focus on missile defense I add more of it than other defenses when make a ship design. From my experience the AI can't 'cope' with fleets using weapons tech of equal level and evenly distributed amongst ship designs in the fleet.Same for armor. I agree with the above

Has anyone else noticed that when the AI suggests credits for a tech the amount is a lot lower then why you attempt the trade? For example the trade that prompted me to post was the Iconians offering 80 creds for Interstellar Logistics(+10 Logistics, Hyperion Logistic System). I said no then the next turn selected the tech and then checked to see how many credits they'd offer. It was 786. This is not the only instance, anyone else experiencing this?
Quoting Illauna, reply 8 I donno. The adjacency bonus + production that doesn't require me to burn up tiles for farms + approval buildings. It's not terribal. Unlike the research building. Yeah, I don't think the refinery is amazi
I think you mainly want it for its adjacency bonus now. It's still good, just not as overwhelming as it was.
Its adjacency bonus isn't worth it either. Solar Power planet is arguably better, particularly because you can upgrade it.
Birthday, When you 'go into negative spending' the game stops all production of building/ships and all research and resets GLoBAL output to full economy. What this means is all planets are put on 100% economy until you get back into positive numbers. What used to happen is it would Stay that way after you fixed your debt. Now it will go back to each individual planet as it as before. Much better now.&nbsp
