Very dark Dr, but I don't disagree. Seems like common sense is getting scarcer everyday.
Can't disagree, scifi1950. There is probably not much rarer than 'common' sense.
Just saying that some of us will be able to adjust to a world without them when the AI's take over and lock us out
Ah. Well, you assume there will be anyone left, at that point.

Just to round things out, apparently OpenAI's sandbox wasn't what it should have been. OpenAI's crew did not do their due diligence. Which is what this is all about: It's too damned easy for something like this to have occurred. There are no rigid , iron clad rules nor protocols in place for testing this stuff. Complete isolation means just that. "Whoops! proof" rules and protocols run by people with check lists and no sense of humor should be the minimum demand.</p

Well, it didn't take long, did it? This is the scenario that gives one nightmares because companies, individuals and countries are busy empowering AI more and more while giving minimal, pious lip service, if any at all, regarding limiting AI with agreed upon safety rules to prevent serious damage to energy infrastructure, communications, food and water systems, and yes, defensive and offensive weapon systems, to mention just a few vulnerabilities. So what's the drama about? OpenAI was
So, my brother was already aware of ON1 software and uses ON1 Photo Raw MAX. It includes AI Photo Restoration which can restore and recolor old photos. Here is an example.
I use the same software. It already has NoNoise AI in it and, he already has the app as a stand alone and as an extension in Ps and Lr.
Thanks Too! Dr.
If this problem persists, I'd suggest opening a Support ticket...basj would know the right one. I don't want to misdirect you. Post the url of the content you want to download so ee can test it...it might be a specific problem with that link.
I visited the site and this looks like a really great product. I'm not a photographer, but their tools look very professional. I have a brother who is a photography enthusiast and I plan to bring this to his attention. Thanks for sharing.
Indeed, pelaird...On1 is genuinely professional software. Both Hankers and I have used On1 for years. I'm sure your brother will enjoy NoNoise AI.

Hey folks hope you're enjoying the end of the work week. I'm happy to bring you this give away of a great piece of software from On1. No strings attached. I use the full app (On1 PhotoRAW) on my photos together with the NIK collection and Ps. The give away is NoNoise AI 2024.5 which is its latest iteration. It integrates with Lr and Ps seamlessly and is simple to use. Anthony Morganti is an excellent photographer and teacher and provides a full tuto
