Planet invasion animation in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, Eventhough the overall GFX are great something is missing with ground invasion. The animation is just simple 2D sprites which are fighting and that is all. I would like to see something a litle bit more advanced in this part. It is modern warfare not middle age battle. ANd we should have some 3D animated ground battles. What are your thoughts ? Thx.

Do it like this. Research Planetary defenses and the planetary invasion right from the begining. Boost your research and then keep sending landing party on the dreadlors planet. Eventualy you will win but bewear population cost will be high since Dread Lords have 300 in soldiering while you can reach only 118.

[/Quote] In such case they could just block the tree at some point but no. Don't say that this is impossible since they did this with shieled technology. In mission 3 or 4 I got owed by Dreadlords. With their soldiering at 300 and myn only at 25 it was 347 vs 12. I was loosing constantly. It is completly stupi
