Logistics...What Increases This Besides Techs? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Yo I have a 28 in logistics. The problem is that the 2 other remaining civs have a 40 and 53. It's not fun to try and overcome such a disadvantage. I'm going to start a new galagy. So my question is how did this happen? The only thing I can think of is anomalies. Any Ideas?

Don't know if this has come up or whatever but I cant read through all these posts... When I try to attack an enemy fleet with one of my own, the battle screen doesn't come up and my fleet, which is supposed to be attacking, just sits there and does nothing. The "menu" becomes unavailable as well and if I press "turn" it disappears and doesn't come back making the game essentially frozen even though I can use the mouse and move the screen and such. Regarding my post above...I forgot to mention that the approval calculation given never fails to be wrong. So I'm confused about what the true approval rating is what the true calculation looks like...? It's also 4am and I'm posting on a message board about my approval rating on planets from a computer stragegy game about outerspace...how did it come to this?

I've played a few games so far and every planet I try to increase the population over 15B my approval soon drops into the toilet. I have all the same problems over 10B too but not as drastic or quick to became rediculous. I've realized I cant research farm upgrade techs cause I can't maintain approval on planets with that high a population. And building farms on bonus tiles...forget it. I end up with half my tiles with morale bonuses and even with moral+ trade goods it

I pre-orded from Walmart only because I had read a post by Brad that they will stock the collector's edition exclusively. The extra content was cool, I was looking foward to the tech tree, and I wanted to support Stardock by pre-ordering. I'm a little confused/disturbed by what's going on with this situation. I had been looking foward to this for a very long time. So is it a wash here...should I just downloand from Stardock? What is everyone else planning on doing?
