thanks for the help, managed to change the tooltip colours although I'm guessing it's Windows 7 is the reason why you can't just use "info window" and "info text" to fix it now

Recently upgraded to Windows 7 and WB7 because my computer died a death recently and I had to buy a new one. Everything with WB seems to be fine apart from being unable to change the tooltip colours unless there is some sort of option I've unchecked or I need to put a registry value in or something like that usually in WB6 I was able to change the tooltip by using the skin colours and changing "info window" and "info text" to the values I wanted, these two options are still here

I notice that the program is generating "personality" files as well, so I deleted them and my WB is rendering normally again. However I expect this will only be a short-term fix. So I contacted Stardock on their contact form and we'll see what happens on the "nview" idea - I have no idea to see if that is running or not. In my startup using msconfig, I have NVIDIA Driver Helper Service, NVIDIA Compatible Windows 2000 Display Driver and NVIDIA Media Centre Library all ticked to start

as this looks similar to my problem, I'll just reply in here rather than start a new post. I'm getting a grey line with my Firefox address bar. My folders all have the menu bars at the top cut off, meaning that you need to go to the taskbar and right click to close them. Reply to Activation problem in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

I bought Windowblinds from the stardock website on Monday night, but I've used my maximum activations because I've tried installing and uninstalling it so many times due to it reverting to that Windows classic mode I've got it to work on occasions, but this morning I noticed it had gone back to normal (Windows Classic) mode, so I was trying to install it to fix it again, but got "maximum activations used" when I tried to. Anyway I can get my activations reset? Thanks in advanc
