These are really impressive. Nice work on the Constitution and Starfury.
We're going to be updating the system to allow space/numbers, and allowing people to submit an edit to their name. It probably won't be until next week as we have to get the system in place.
You guys are the best! Thanks for being flexible about the naming!
Anyone else annoyed by the restrictions (no spaces, only first letter capitalized, no numbers)? I was hoping to do something in the style of Worf 359 and now I can't. Also because of the no spaces rule, we're going to have these odd 2 or 3 word names jammed into a single messy word. Can we loosen the restrictions a little here Stardock?
I would also like to see this feature added. Thanks, Adam
Great! Thanks BoogieBac!
Anyone out there have some good art for the Elemental Soundtrack cover?
Bump for some album art.
Are you asking if you can give a second copy you didn't pay for to someone else? Or did you buy 2 copies?
I just got my LE today, and I'm looking for some album art for the music. Is there any official art for the cover of the album?
Nice. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the MP servers going live.
Dang, I like goodie huts, maybe just fewer of them. Civ's implementation works. Placed at the beginning and they don't respawn.
I'm not sure if anyone posted this yet. I figured I would share it with the GalCiv forum. http://www.cad-comic.com/sillies/20100614 http://www.cad-comic.com/sillies/20100614
Windisch: Digg articles count, however, to keep them focused we are just giving points for articles that are dugg that Island Dog has submitted and are fairly recent. If you feel some of your rejected submissions fit this criteria let me know and I'll look over them again. I don't know what friendfeed is but if its like Twitter then you can absolutely get points for it so long as there is a way to link to what you have posted.
I'm gonna say, I think the poster your commenting on Zampolit, is frustrated. Now, that doesn't mean incompetent, or stupid per se. More a case that particular author not feeling like he could compete with folks who streaked so far out in front. If they did want to compete, as you said, they can review the top dogs and see what they did, and if they are inclined to do so, also try it out too. Participating in posts that support and are build
I understand the point of the Army to get the news of Elemental out to new customers. What purpose does posting in the Elementalgame.com forums do for marketing? Apparently Diggs and Friendfeed posts to possible new customers aren't good enough, so how is posting to the game's own forum better?
Ok, thanks kryo. I just wanted to make sure.
Ok, I posted earlier about how I didn't mind losing my Digg points, as long as everyone lost the points for the same Diggs. Well it seems I'm the only one who has lost points. I currently have only 2 Diggs with points left while everyone else I looked at in the top 5 has been credited for Digg submissions that were removed from my account. Is this still in progress, or am I just being knocked down a notch for no reason?
Just keep us up to date on the rule changes, so we know what to digg, etc. I'm assuming there will be an update on the Army page or on the forum about the rule changes?
At least they are attempting to fix the contest when they found submissions they didn't like. The Bioware Bazaar was completely useless because of people grouping together their points. I lost a lot of points after the Digg changes, but I don't care. As long everyone else loses points for similar posts, and keeps it fair for everyone, I'll keep playing.
I haven't noticed anything like that yet. I have submitted a few older diggs and tweets and they were denied because they were too old. So I think they are obviously paying attention. I'm sure that some will get through. I'm glad its looked at by people rather than just scanned by a program.
Yeah, you typically can undo moves up to the point where you actually attack, cast a spell, or some other object is enabled (like traps on a tile or something like that when you move). I don't recall reading anything specifically from the dev team if they have undo in there.
I was skeptical about this because most of the time a bunch of people take advantage of the system, like the recent BioWare Bazaar. I'm going to give it a shot and see how it goes. Hopefully the marketing will work for Stardock, and the system will be fair.
Looks better. I did notice a problem with a Best Buy ad at the top was obscuring the drop down menu. The next ad I loaded did not. Any chance you can add videos of the dreams or cursor fx? It would be nice to see them in action, especially if they are pay versions.
So its distributed computing for building your code. Thats awesome. I never heard of that before.
I like your idea for the tactical battles. Would be an improvement over the standard MOM-style.
