I always adopt a tactic of complete isolationalism when I play as the Yor. I find a quiet corner of the map and use complete self sufficiancy to militarize fast. I think the morale and defection bonuses the Yor get mean that economic policy can always be shifted towards greater industrial might.

After a lengthy campain agains the Torians (I was the Alterans) I noticed that one of my frigate's hp was 21/18. [e digicons]o_O[/e] Is this a glitch or does it just mean they have combat experience??

Or if you wanted to go to war without having to attack an enemy ship you could just go to another civ's negociation screen and go to attack... whatever civ.

Where are my custom civs??? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I just installed v1.11 and discovered my custom civs were all gone. Only it's ok because I backed up all the GalCiv "my documents" files though and placed them in the GalCiv folder again. I'v just started the game and found that theyr'e not there in the game. Is this that theyr'e no compatible with 1.11? Please help I really want this Civ back as somehow it had (without modding the xml) a abilities bon

I'd like to see something like a hanger module or something that can go onto a large or huge hulled ship. This should bring up the speed of any fighters travelling with it as a fleet and would allow for real warship complement fighters in a fleet that don't travel 2 or 3 turns per week.

I had a random event giving me 2 precurser corvettes, so you can get more than 1 ship in these random events They always give either 2 corvettes or one ranger. These events usually happen to the race with a weak military.

Problem updating in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Is there anyway to update the game without the internet? I'm downloading the update V1.11 from a different location and after I installed it on my GalCiv2 PC I tryed running the game and it asked me to input a serial code, so I did and an error message appeared. I also saw something about a sig.bin file but I couldn't find it.

Also i've notice that a core design ship would cost X amount and designing your own ship of the same hull with better weapons, defences, modules etc. can sometimes cost less. This could also encourage people to use the designer.

When you recieve a Trade Good in the trade screen from another Civ what exactly happens? Does it go into one of your empty grids on a planet? I was at war with the Iconians and after I started destroying their military I agreed on a peace treaty if they gave me Xinithium Hull Plating which gave a hitpoint bonus.
