I was able to upgrade now finally, phew.

lol, kinda funny the weekend I finally find out about this key transfer option is the weekend it breaks. Really hope it gets solved soon;
I trust Stardock more than the NMS devs. Sculpted planets should be fairly awesome- though, I hope it means we also get spore-like terraforming tools- those would be fun.
Discord link does not work, which sucks, I just read on reddit lifetime founders could get the key there
Cabbage here- I just love Stardock and their products. Also loved Star Control 2 as a kid and really just want to help this version shine.
I have some bad news on the Korx as a major civilization. Quoting Frogboy, reply 6 You guys are looking at one of the few Korx left in the galaxy. They will never be a major race again.
Damn
I didn't mention drath since I am fairly certain that if they do return it will be with the espionage expansion down the line.... Which should be awesome if that is the case. My growth of minors wasn't just them taking multiple planets- it was more "why are they even all space-faring in the first place?" but yes that too makes sense. May I also say that I really hope one day they release a brand new major? That snathi were a nice touch
I just noticed that! Apparently I got a bad roll in my first set of ships because I got 0 before. The one that makes the starbase it is used on gain 200 influence and 100%+ influence seemed PARTICULARLY awesome to me! I was so happy to see I was wrong there.
Awesome- I hope they don't change the Snathi merc capture. That seems like a great unintentional buff for them. Actually I love it when the dlcs all work together. I really do. For example- I was using a mercenary survey fleet to capture precursor relics..... and yes I too lost a merc ship to a snathi. It really felt cool to see them all working well with that synergy. All I want to (really) see now is a minor race buy one of the colony
I posted this on the massive DLC thread on steam but I was wondering what people thought of my ideas- well, the second one to be precise. I think most people would instantly agree with any plan that involves a new major race so the second one is the one which is a bit more complex Okay- so I was just playing the mercenary expansion and I had a thought. I really like the new elements the mercs add to the game and I feel like the two "new" races are a lot of fun. Bu
I didn't read anything about an NDA for this beta?
A few thoughts myself. Agree that amphibious is too weak. I also found that the merc called "The Final Breath" which is meant to terraform a dead world to lvl 16 currently does not seem to work. Also- perhaps it is time to change the pirate's logo. It is just the Torian logo upside down? Other then that I am really loving the new races- the campaign, while still only a single map, was a lot of fun too. Makes me hope/wish the
No more power as a resource? Yes please! woo!
i7 3770k, 32gb ram, 970GTX, Windows 10.
Yeah, I also loved the satisfaction gained by not having a "houses" system. Even if someone had a massive fortress (or I had one) It was always possible to crack the lines with enough force from artillery or superweapons. If you want to encourage people to grow you only really need power OR logistics. Both is just... annoying. Both leads to a place where if you accidentally don't invest enough of your power into logistics you don't have the ability to turn the game around. &nb
My star is still not there despite being approved. I too got the same message as everyone else did when sending to support. Not going to lie, makes me rather sad.
God, I hadn't thought about using my Hometown as a star name, that'd be awesome.
While yes, only up to a point, not like we need a random event every turn Perhaps procedural events?
When I say more I more mean increasing the number of "cards" in the events deck. For example, say the game had 30 "Cards" which could be drawn for each event, I would want 300 "cards", not a random event each turn. J
Random Events, Events During Colonization, ect were my favourite part of GalCiv. Frankly, I think that the more they have the better. Use the old ones, then add a hundred more. Then keep adding more, the more the merrier. I want to have so many events that by the time I get the same one I have already forgotten it. I love random events <3. In case you didnt notice. Especially those ones that let you do really evil or expensive things to unexpectedly up the planet qual
merry christmas indeed :O I was really getting annoyed with that fleet bug. I wanted to build a influence starbase right next to some guys capital but I couldnt get a big enough fleet of em in to make it defended enough XD now I can :O
Would it be possible to mod the game so that all techs can be traded? sorry but im a real tech addict. Knowing me id trade a few million of the credits and my entire fleet for the recharging rods for organic life forms XDD ._. wow sometimes I even scare myself I
What I would like to know is simple; Can you trade techs (and use them) from the other tech trees. One thing I LOVE to do is get ALL the techs this expansion means to do that im gonig to have to keep a entire galaxy of races peaceful until they finish their tech trees and I trade for them. but will I even be able to USE those techs? since the improvements are still the same per race just called different names (aka will

If you have some big alien zapping your ship with unkown weapons you are hardly going to sit there and take it; they would still research some defensive tech; if they didnt they would die :P
