"Winter Snow" was a Neil Banfield item included up to DeskScapes 10 at least. The Effects do not allow the creation of that background specifically.
I downloaded DeskScapes 11 today and the classic "Winter Snow" (customizable flake amount/size/speed, can use own background) isn't included nor can I find it anywhere on WinCustomize. What happened to it?
I have a saved group with Discord in it. It appears Groupy handles applications by their direct path, which is fine for most that don't change their folder every update. Discord has elected to change its folder name with its version every time it updates. This throws saved groups off. Could a wildcard be implemented in a path like this? C:\Users\[NAME]\AppData\Local\Discord\ * \

I have several components of Object Desktop (WindowBlinds, Curtains, Start10, Groupy, DeskScapes) but not the full suite. Figured I'd post here instead of in one specific forum. Is it possible to improve how these applications update so that they don't demand a reboot every single time? Stop the services, even temporarily change the Windows theme to unload other assets, update, then put everything back? I know some people wouldn't want all that graphical flash-ba
I solved the problem-ish. Perhaps there is some kind of automated selection of the "large" files for the images included with the program. However, this was a community image. The solution was to use a transparency-aware editor to double the size of the original image. Save that, and tell Start10 to load the new enlarged image. No more tiny Start button. EDIT: The huge button shows in Remote Desktop mode.
OK I've determined that Curtains isn't the issue (deleting the style's button and/or changing the button override takes it out of contention). Start10 is just not scaling its images (even ones that are included with the software). This can be moved to the Start10 forum if possible.
I was incorrect in my original post so I have edited it. I removed the button from a Curtains style so it would let Start10 control the button instead. This is what happened.

So I'm less sure it's DeskScapes. But it's still something Stardock. Here's why. When I ran powercfg -energy, Windows pointed a finger at Explorer, DeskScapes, Groupy ... Match the resolutions, then let Windows revert back. On my 1920x1200 - 2560x1600 - 1920x1200 setup, if I flip the center screen to 1920 DeskScapes will start. Then it restarts successfully when Windows flips the resolution back to 2560 after I don't click "Keep these settings" after 20 seconds. It's annoying, but works.
Well this explains why it worked on my HTPC which has a 4k TV as a single monitor with 1809, but my gaming box with three screens (1920x1200 - 2560x1600 - 1920x1200) does not work. Looking forward to a resolution.

Yes. My computer has even been rebooted in the meantime due to Windows updates. The Start menu is still devoid of content minus Windows 10 Menu and Windows Settings.
Recent items/frequent places is turned on. I re-downloaded, ran the purge program, rebooted, and reinstalled. Start10 is only populated by "Windows 10 menu" and "Settings" (Windows). I launched three programs (Word, Excel, and a game). None of them appeared in Start10.
I updated to Start10 1.6.1. My Start Menu completely emptied out, as shown in the picture. I've tried reinstalling Start10 1.6.1 and using Start10 1.56 which I had laying around from an old "restore all these programs after a clean install of Windows" folder. Neither cleared up the empty Start menu. Even if I haven't used any programs recently (think clean install) Start10 usually populates with default Windows items, at least. I've never seen it totally
No. If I change the theme to something other than Win8 and reboot, the clock shows up. The problem is solely with the Win8 theme.
