Re-conceptualizing Society, twenty years later in Society Stardock Forums

I've been thinking back on this game idea periodically for the past twenty years. Every other post in this corner of the forum is now locked and dead. I have no idea if anyone will actually see this. So, two years after the "moving forward" update, is there still any life in this? Anything at all? Since Society was announced, I graduated high school. And college. And got a job, and two promotions. They invented smartphones. We fought a long, protracted war. We've seen two presidential terms and a pope.
