do in other words when the days run out, you can just get it again. Or without the trouble pay up and have as long as you want. Well since i payed $20 for WB4 i'll use that since you get the themes. Not worth paying another $15-$20 to get a new which is only the glass thing then. OK I'm finnished in this post topic.

To post #137 and $140: i think it a shareware version, down the bottom it has 53 days left, if that means the days i have left to use it then it's really a trial, not a shareware version. Alsothe first download i couldn't get any glass effect on the already standard themes nor one i downloaded. So i redownloaded it again and i'm getting that glass effect on the skins already included. But not the one i downloaded. So obviously you really only getting a

i re-downloaded windowblinds 5 to see if maybe something happened during the download. i installed it and it is doing that glass effect. So i installed a skin i download from the gallery "Vista" but the glass effect won't work on it.

[Reply to post #100 Most of the heavy lifting (as I understand it) is done by the video card in this build of WB. And you indicate that you have a Radeon 9800 which should be fine according to Stardock. [I have a Radeon 9200se with no problems seeing glass effects.] Have you updated your drivers yet? There should be no harm even if it doesn't help. And if you are not trying to offend skinners, you might want to find better a

to post #98 Yes we all have own opinions. Also i'm not trying to bag off WB5 (Sorry if offend anybody previously) i'm sure it's good, just having a PC that'll use it to it's fullest. I suppose it's not WB mob who made it as they would have tested it on later computers and expect most people to have later ones say 2 yrs max.

to post #83: yes the e-mails i think i've had like 30 from wincustomize, very annoying. to post #84: tried all the skins that came with WB5, no glass, which is why i tried a downloaded vista glass. to post #89: i didn't download a latest driver because i wasn't experiencing anyhing it said. Just looks lke i can't have glass unles i pay $20. You would at least be able to have 2 or 3 downloaded glass skins as well. All th

i was told that the transperancy was included in the sahreware but that stupid pop-up that says "Buy" and "Continue" drives you insane, everytime you start the PC or change the skin. If you don't get the Transparency like i do it's not the Shareware version but the video card being used on the PC which is a downside as i couldn't see anywhere what minimum video needed for transparency.
