Well? Please answer. If perhaps my typing was bad and you didn't understand, I meant that you said the much is adressed, but not everything. What isn't adressed, and why?

i agree. thanks.
Much. But is everything I said adressed? Thanks for the reply, Brad. I really appreciate it. :) [Message Edited]
But this only makes the game more tactics based and doesn't emphasize the economy and culture part of the game!
I once read in an article written by Brad, where he said that the thing in Galactic Civilizations is about a competition between races on who could build the greatest economy and the create the greatest culture, and not who could build the biggest amount of ships. I personally think that adding the feature of three weapon type adds an element of needless tactics which blurs the point that makes this game unique. Could there be an
sometimes i think each one of us is the worst AI ever written.
yes, i know. This is why i'll keep playing this game. well, at least until galciv 2 comes out. :) I really appreciate the time the delevopers spend on the good ai. however, as a human, you always look for ways to improve.
Nice. If you could put a link here, I'll be glad. But what about the other issues I discussed here?
I must comment and also say that this is ides is, personally, great. I'll try to detail how the idea I read here went throught my head: "...ooh. Cool. Banana. Hmmm. Hungry. Donut. Ohh. Commaders in GalCiv 2. Cool. Banana. Hmm..." And now for being serious. I think that every ship you'll build will be assigned a commander automatically, without you inteferring in the process. The commander will be given a name
Recently I have finished a huge-map game in GalCiv 1. And after creating a post in the GalCiv 1 forum, I decided to put it here also, in order for the developers to see what I think should be improved. I am aware that some issues I will discuss here have already been fixed. But you know, just for the case - They'll be written. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/gc2/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 A
I am sorry. Apparantly something went wrong with the forum's system. As the first post appeared to be doubled. I edited the latter and it changed the first one. I noticed that and try to re-edit it again. Apparantly when I chose a category in the edited it just refreshed the window and wouldn't let me submit the fixed edit. I'm opening a new thread, sorry for the mess. Jimmy =]
Sorry. Apparantly the first post was double-posted in the same thread. This edit deleted the copy. :) Please, reply with your thoughts and what I've said. Jimmy :)
Alright, reading your replies, I have this to say. 1,2. Okay, thanks. :) However, I read that StarDock are going to develop updates for GalCiv 1 also. This is the reason I chose to write this. 3. As far as I know, and as far as I read, and I have read pretty much - Intelligent level is the highest AI level. The upper levels just makes the AI's cheat - They gain more from taxes, etc. 4. When I'm playing a challenging game I expect my rivals to give me a challange. When
First of all, I'm new to the forum. So hi! :) Now, I have some issues I wish to discuss with all of you, and hopefully - the AI programmer of the game (if he's viewing the forums). He's names Brad, ain't it? Hey Brad! You're invited. :) Before I say what I have in mind, I wish to let you know that indeed GalCiv has a really deep and sophisticated AI that I haven't seen in any game before. Brad, all my bases are belong to you for that. ;p However, there are a few things
