On 1.09b.003 --- Has anyone else noticed that the AI seems to senselessly build more than one (per race) expensive unimproved star base in a sector? I saw four in one sector in my previous game. I have several sectors in my current game with several sectors that already have two. The races that seem to do this the most are the Arceans and the Torians (so far).
Um, why would you want to prevent autolaunch when you've set the rallypoint?
1. To save the rally point assignment while changing to build one ship that I want to keep in orbit and planning to change back to the ship type I was sending to that rally point. 2. I don't want to be penalized for forgetting to reset the rally point when I turn off autolaunch.

Crash loading a saved game on 1.09b.003. After my normal morning bootup of my PC I tried to start GC and reload last night's saved game. Nothing in the debug.err file strikes me as significant to the failure. I am sending the saved game, debug file, and prefs.ini file to Cari. I got the following SE report: ------------------- Stardock SmartException Logging Information ------------------------------------------- OS Version : Windows ME Video Card : NV

The Stardock main offices are located in a town (Livornia) that is 5-15 miles west of Detroit and is part of the greater Detroit metropolitan area. Since Detroit is included in the area of the wide spread power outage that started at about 4:10 PM EDT affecting a vast amount of the North East USA and Eastern Canada, it is highly likely that the servers in the Stardock main offices will be down until power is restored to all of the greater Detroit area. According to the latest CNN report

Re: Post # 149 - As I play the game further I come to realize that the game can't destinguish between the two "rally point 3"s. If you select the second one in the list on the "set rally point" window it will assign it to the first rally point instead.

On 1.09B.003 - after creating rally points 0, 1, 2, and 3, I disbaned rally point 1 and created a new rally point. The new rally point was designated as rally point 3, so now I have two "rally point 3"s. The game seems to regard them as two separate and destinct rally points in spite of them having the same name (at least, so far), so it looks like it is only a cosmetic problem that may confuse the player.

On 1.09B(b).003 - I have found an inconsistancy with setting rally points between selecting planets from a star system's list and selecting planets from the planet list. If you select a star with multiple colonized planets and set rally points by going from planet to planet without clicking on the "assign" button (but still clicking on the rally point you want to select for each planet), then close the planet view by clicking on the "done" button of the planet view, the first and (mayb

On 1.09B.003 - The trade routes listed for other races is incorrect (Foreign policy->stats->total routes). It lists the source and target planets correctly but it lists the race of the target planet as the race for the source planet. E.g., if the Arceans have a route from their own planet Valens to the Scottlingas's planet Vitellius it is listed as "Valens to Arcean Empire (Vitellius)" when it should be listed as "Valens to Scottlingas (Vitellius).

On 1.09B.003 window domestic policy -> governor -> obsolete ships - the text in the upper right box is overlayed by the names of the governors from the social governors window. The same is true for the miltary swap window. The governor's names appear in the exact same spot in all three windows.

I am on 1.09b(B).003 - The new wrapping of the tech list in the foreign trade (or "speak to") panel seems to cause a missalignment of the pointer. In the case I saw the first tech in the list was wrapped and the next two were not. When I placed the pointer on the second line (the second half of the tech that wrapped) the third line highlighted, and when I placed the pointer on the third line the fourth line highlighted. Clicking worked on the highlighted line, so the problem is only with the poi

This thread is getting quite long. I don't know if anyone has noticed the way the governors mess up the social projects of all the planets and posted it here yet, so here goes: Long ago it was established and agreed that changing a governor's project list from the domestic "governor" window would not change the projects planets were building. 1.09b(b).003 has the following errors: 1). If you have changed the social project of a planet, then so much as select that planet's gov

Reply to Arturus Magi (post #26), and to Stardock:
Now, reply to #25 BlueSteel:After loading from a saved game.. My influence level drops dramatically This is normal.
This is, indeed, as advertised, but it disrupts the normal progression of the game if you have to save and quit (to go to bed, for instance). For instance, if you are within 12 months of a cultural victory your victory is extended for one or two months when you save, quit, and restart. Som

I am having trouble with the new governor's list. When the display area for the list gets filled to the point where the arrows become active it becomes very difficult to arrange the projects with the priority arrows. Almost nothing works. In one case I had many entries for the same project at the end of the list and I had to resort to removing projects from the list and re-entering them, adjusting my order of selection to get them to go into the list in the order I wanted them to be in by watchi

Here is another CTD. It occured when I was double clicking an orbiting defender to de-orbit it, but it is possible that my cursor slid off target for the second click. I saw a new box I hadn't seen before and pressed it and got the following crash. Then I restarted the game and can't find the box anywhere. For many levels up through 1.04.060 in a governor's list (domestic policy "governor" screen) with more than 19 items attempting to remove any item beyond #19 (requires scrolling) removes a different item from the list. It is as if the item number is taken from the item's screen position instead of from the item's position in the list.
