Stardock affected by power outage in NE US and Canada.

The Stardock main offices are located in a town (Livornia) that is 5-15 miles west of Detroit and is part of the greater Detroit metropolitan area. Since Detroit is included in the area of the wide spread power outage that started at about 4:10 PM EDT affecting a vast amount of the North East USA and Eastern Canada, it is highly likely that the servers in the Stardock main offices will be down until power is restored to all of the greater Detroit area.
According to the latest CNN reports on the blackout, Detroit is having greater difficulty recovering power than most of the rest of the area affected. This could mean that the servers in the Stardock main offices will be unavailable through the weekend (and beyond). Even if the power is restored to the Stardock offices, the portion of the net that serve the Stardock servers could still be without power for some time.
In addition, a potential of damage to some of the Stardock servers exists.
We will not know how Stardock was affected by this outage until the Stardock people reconnect their servers' to the internet and can fill us in.
