Well that definitely explains it then. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] Thanks!

Hi all, You folks are terrific help! As you can see by the linked ss, the lower portion of the 'copying items' window is not properly skinned, yet nowhere in SKS7 can I find where I can fix it or what it's called. Any suggestions? Thanks!
OK - I got it all straightened out! Thanks a bunch!! [e digicons][/e]
No, it's my cursor. I'll keep fiddling with later - thanks for the suggestions!
It's something in the skin - it doesn't show that way when I use a different skin. I want to package it and post it, but I want it to be right.
Yeah, I've tried fiddling with the text margins settings, but nothing I do changes the truncation. Thanks for the suggestion though! I just don't know if there's some other setting somewhere that I haven't been able to find that will take care of this thing. I guess I'll keep at it...
I'm unable to get the text in the Start Menu Program List to cease truncating. I'm using SKS7. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks bud, sounds good! It's nice to know that they're taking care of us. :)
Apparently, according to the reply I got from Tech Support, there is no upgrade from SKS6 Pro to SKS7 Pro: "I am afraid that we are not offering an upgrade path from SkinStudio 6 to SkinStudio 7." Regards, Melissa / MeliBee Stardock Customer Support
Here is the reply I got from customer support on the issue: I am afraid that we are not offering an upgrade path from SkinStudio 6 to SkinStudio 7.
Thanks for your suggestion - I'm having the same problem of SKS7 Pro not showing up as an upgrade from SKS 6 (purchased a month ago because I wanted SKS 7 beta, which I didn't get). Along with your suggestion, nothing I do will make SKS 7 Pro appear. Perhaps I should write the 19.95 off as a loss and use the free version, as all I want to do is fix the taskbar bits in old skins for Win7.
It doesn't show up as an upgrade in Impulse. And I only purchased SKS6 Pro last month hoping to use SKS7 beta as I've had Win7 since early spring (I wasn't able to). I just wanted to fix the taskbar bits in old skins, but I'm still unable to.
Since this is a customization site, I'm not surprised at the results - there's not much that can be done in the way of customization with a Mac, in my frustrated experience. As it is, I'm using Litestep on my WinVista.
Hi- It is possible to change the background image the way you describe, just not by overwriting the tga file with your own. You have to open the tga file you want to change in your editor first, change it, then save the changes.
Thank you - I'm happy to report that there is a definite improvement in the image quality with IconDeveloper 2.0. I've been replacing all of the icons I had made previously.
I have been disappointed in the image quality of the .ico files that IconDeveloper produces compared to the original .png image, will this change if I pay for the enhanced version? Thanks-
