I received a version of the exe without the safedisc copy protection, and that seems to have solved the problem.
I tried going into the prefs.ini file in the Data folder and setting SkipIntro=1, but it didn't help. So I have emailed [email protected] .
I adjusted my hardware acceleration; now the display is initialized and I see the introduction, but then the game crashes.
I get the "Failed to initialize display" message. I have an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440. I'm running Windows XP (Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2). The driver is NVIDIA ForceWare v66.93 . I've downloaded the 1.02 update from your website. Can you help? Thanks in advance.
