Really, the best way to illustrate how silly it is to try to justify "well sure we can teach I.D., because evolution is just a theory" is to take another theory. Newton's Theory of Gravity works pretty well, and it states: "the force of attraction between two bodies is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them."
