It is saddening to see politicians who play the "patriotic card" to simply gain an office for kicks, and I think President Bush has other things in mind when in comes to "promoting freedom". However, I have always said that as the Worlds leader, the US needs to do what is right, and looking at the state of many middle eastern countries, "Free" is not a word I'd use to describe them.

Thanks little_whip! Perhaps "favorite" wasn't the best choice to describe them? didn't take shit from anyone... Luckily enough for him though, the sh!t he would have had thrown at him wasn't anything as bad as it is now!

Thanks Dr.Guy! I'm surprised more people haven't said Reagan, even as a liberal he's on my list.

---yeah, some people think i'm childish for reading them, but they are fairly interesting...and i like fantasy...so, i read them...have you read any Turtledove, Baxter, or Jakes novels? Well I am still by state standards a child (but remember they're wrong about that) so being childish isn't a big issue

Just for the record, it would be nice if those who post comments would try not to answer for the other party in the way they see most fit, especially if it involves a "generalization".

I've been wandering lately who are the most popular politicians and why they are the most popular. For instance do Republicans favor the moderate voices from their party or do they lean more towards the ideologues? Or, do democrats lean towards who ever hates Bush the most, or who most embodies all of their beliefs? So, if anyone could post a few politicians they admire and why, and their political affiliation I will try to write an article as to

Great Article! Personnally, though I find myself agreeing with just about everything liberals in general believe in, I am finding that as I read more on many of the DNC leaders that I once found myself cheering on, I am now wishing they would all go away,(I'll let you know when this starts working...). I think though a lot of why our party is run by people who I find more and more to my dislike is that they are the loonies who throw every nasty thought

RightWinger I'm confused as to what your opinion of "the average American" is. Bush won 51% Kerry 48% much as a hate to break it to you this does in no way show that liberals are neccessarily pushing "mainstream" America away from them, it shows that 3% more of Americans like Bush policies over a Kerry policy. Furthermore, Republicans gains came namely from southern states (Texas?) not all over the country. However, on another note I do agre

"He keeps thinking correctly. Why else would the ACLU attack the City, and county of LA for the cross on its shield, and yet not say a word about the pagan godess?" That comment was made about liberals in general, not the ACLU, furthermore I believe I stated that the ACLU was has turned and is now fairly leftist.

They just hate any Christian religion. They love islam. You keep thinking that, P.S. If this is true then I believe that it could be said that the right loves christianity and hates Islam. Just a thought...

So you support them, but you condemn what they are doing. You support them, but they have to hear your side telling us what a grave injustice they are endeavoring to do, and how they are doomed to failure, and how they are dying needlessly, and how they shouldn't be there in the first place.
