I may not be an american, but i do see your point here. I wouldn't like to take that chance either. But there are a lot of ways this rule can be avoided legally. Like if a foreigner were to have a child with an american that child would be fully american. So he/she would be able to run for president when old enough to do so. If the parents of that child were to go apart and the foreigner would take the child with him/her, he/she could raise the chi
