I'm just coming back into skinning fresh and find all the options available, while intimidating at first, very exciting. Its harder yes but that just adds a challenge to it. I look over the progress the skinning community and apps have made over the past 6 years and find it amazing.
true! WinXp definately makes a difference in system performance and stability. I wasn't putting down WB was just saying how slick its become compared to its beginning. It is exciting what can be done. But then I could just be riding a high at getting a semi transparent start menu to actually work.hehe
I just had to post and say Wow! For the first time in three years I'm digging through the depths of windowblinds and skinstudio. OMG what possibilities there are! I still remember the first builds of WB. It was neat but not all that practical. It was buggy and a resource hog. Now I've got it running all the time and not a problem one. What a joy the transparency levels are too! hehe I think I'm having way too much fun skinning.. Anyway..Thanks Brad, Ad

I still remember one of the original comments when I posted to it on the old skinz site. it said "This is why icq skinners should not skin windowblinds!" hehe I have to say they were right. At least about that skin.
I'm not sure how the windowblinds skin Sandy got uploaded here. I know I didnt put it up. Its under Tananda Green instead of just Tananda which is what I registered under here. This ugly skin was the first wb skin I made. I do not hold any sentimental feeling about it. Please remove it from this site and let it die. Or move it to my account so I can delete it. Thank you

hehe Hi David dont know about that but I'd love to work with some of the old school people again. working on a skin, just finished a contest piece over at devart. May 21 will be two years since I've uploaded a new skin. Maybe I can get something out by then to mark the date.

Hey Guys! Great seeing some of the old names. Makes me miss the skinz.org days. Can you believe I actually forgot about China's famous fonts?? Its been too long since I stopped by for a visit.
Shoggot and his scathe series was one of the first things I seen when I came to skinz.org. His icq skin of that series was what taught me how to make a real skin. Treetog and Mercury inspired and helped me. Dangeruss set the standard for technical skill. Those four are at the top of my list of skinning heros.

Thanks China! Not sure if I'll be around too long. It seems the problem may not have been fixed with the reformat. Anyone know anything about DNS failures? If I type an ip address I can pull up information but not if I typed in a name such as www.yahoo.com.

helps alot thanks! I've been on the net for over four years and this is the first virus I have ever had to deal with. I didn't open the email attachments thankfully.
Sorry to start another thread but I got a question for you guys. I finally got my mail accounts going and recieved 27 emails in one account and about 15 in another all with attachments all sent within an hour of each other. Most of the emails were from a jamie chen on one of my account but there were emails with other people listed as the sender. They all said the same thing: Hi! How are you? I send you this file in order to have your advice See you later. Thanks

Don't know about objectbar but on icq you need ICQ Plus installed. Then all you do is open your plus window and import the skin from wherever you downloaded it. http://www.icqplus.org/ hope this helps.
