I think the president can only affect the long term ecnomey if somthing major happens he can only make policies to fix what happend but it can take years for them to take affect. when Jobs stop being out soruced I hope you people like paying $20 for a box of plastic forks!

You act like taxing the rich justifies the increase. But it is still taking money out of the ecnomey rich people spend money too which helps the ecnomey. I doubt anybody is ploting to remove social security perhaps welfare though.

Well I blame the media, They show only bad which leads people to think nothing is happening and thousands of people are dying for no cause. The media only shows the bad and never the good because that is what sells and now people think thats all there is.

I think the Debate did little to sway voters. whoever you supported will most likely be the person you thought won because you happend to agree with there arguments more. Most of the debate boiled down to kerry saying it was the worng war at the wrong time and bush accusing him of flip flopping.

People need to understand things before they go to the polls. Most people dont realaize how partistian the country is and that people will do anything to make you belive somthing is happening when it is not.

I think the entire debate was just kerry saying that it was the wrong war at the wrong time and bush saying that he was once agin flip floping. Both canadates managed to get there messege out about there plans on the war and sums up that part of the campagin fairly well. To many people let their belifes influence who they thought was a winner.
