America does want to remain the most powerful nation, so I agree, America probably uses the Chechens. Bush is hypocritical in these matters. Just as he has been with Israel. He continues to tell Sharon to back off and use diplomacy, even before 9/11 he did. Yet when we were attacked (yes, it was a much larger scale, but still yet) We invade two countries and spend 200 billion in the process. America wants to be the only natio

Heh, I never believe anything the Bush site or the Kerry site says. I like to research online at various websites and things. Not even the TV News is going to tell you the whole truth. I like the independent group studies...

Hmm. Good Point. There are sides to both. I believe in the Electoral College, I just believe if someone wins the NATION-WIDE popular vote by a HUGE number, then he should win the election. But then again, there would be faults and outcries about that too, so let's just keep it the way it is.

Did Bush really say that? Do you have a link that made him suggest it? Because I don't think Bush has the power to increase medicare premiums alone, and he certainly has to get the approval of Congress right? The Only president as far as my knowledge is that had (almost) complete power, was Lyndon B. Johnson. But that's just my oppinion.

No no no. I like Bush. I wanted Bush to win, still do. But, I do think that you should have the popular vote to win. I think that the majority of AMERICA should be able to decide. Usually the Electoral College works, but, sometimes it doesn't.

Every Politician has something to hide. Bush isn't perfect and neither is Kerry. They both have vices. I haven't seen many Kerry virtues. Most of the things Kerry promises, should he deliver them, will make us much like Europe (example: Universal Health Care)

I think it would be great to have a established democracy in the Middle East. I just don't think Iraq can do it yet. I think the people in power want to remain in a tryanny leadership, able to do anything. They won't have something like a senate, and as history has proven, Monarchies (no, it's a president, not a king, but still yet) always abuse their power and take out anyone who defies them. I believe this will be the case in Iraq, but I pra

Come on! I can't believe people are griping about it this much! Democrats always use negative ads against Republicans, I think it should be just fine for Republicans to use negative ads. It's just people expect it from democrats (i.e. clinton and gore).

I believe it should be decided by the Popular Vote. I don't like the electoral college right now merely because I think you should have to have at least 50% of america liking you to get the win! (Well, the nader factor, maybe a lil less, but still yet!)

Yeah, if you commit a crime, I don't think you should be able to pick our president. Also, you're right, alot of people vote for Kerry because he's not Bush. It's just sad.

okay. I put that in the wrong way. But seriously, don't you think they should have to be conscious and stuff? Yes, people in nursing homes should be able to vote, but I do think they should have to know the name of the man running before they vote for him! I mean seriously, I know way too many people who have no idea who is running at all, they just ask "Who's Democratic?" And they vote. (I'm sure there are some that vote straight republican,

Um, Hello? I've gotta find the links of these to prove it, but you did know that... A: Dead People Voted in Florida! B: People voted in several counties... C: People in Nursing Homes voted? I mean what the heck? If you don't know who your grandkid is, how should you have the ability to vote for President? and E: They did not count the Military vote! Dan Rather claimed Florida before even half the votes were counted. How st

Reply to Jesus Day in Politics

I totally disagree, lifehappens. I'm a Christian, very much so, passionate for Christ, but I must say, I do think it is, somewhat, forcing a religion onto people. I mean seriously, if a governor made "Allah Day" or "Bhudda Day", we'd have some serious eyebrows raised, I guarantee you. I think "Jesus Day", to be named by a Governor, is rather wrong.

I agree with most of that...Insider trading is a tough issue, and same for Domestic Violence. 15 years for selling someone drugs other than Marijuana? 15 years seems god harsh. but I do agree with it.

You might be right. I merely said in my area...heh. Um, matt, that's what he's been doing. Did you watch the entire speech that Kerry did RIGHT AFTER the GOP convention? At least half a dozen times he said "Bush has mislead us into Iraq". And he has also said how Bush has mismanaged the economy (not those words) Here, another thing I must ask is...How can Kerry say the following, (almost quote, paraphrasing a bit) "I'm go

I have a question. Maybe I shouldn't put this here. I am Dick Cheney vs Al Gore right now on the Campaign Mode. Can you set a difficulty for campaign mode or not? Because Right now he gets like 35 states on his side by week 16, and I can't seem to catch up... How does he do it? I'm curious if they make it this hard onpurpose or if I can change the difficulty.

I am not from Nevada. I'm actually from North Carolina. I want Bush to be elected president again, but for totally different reasons than most of you would think... Anyway, what I have seen myself about the independent groups is, I've seen so many attacking the Kerry Campaign. I've seen a couple that attack the bush campaign, but I've seen several anti-kerry campaign ads. For example, I've seen several times the attack against Kerry by the Swi
