Game Support (or Cari if you happen to be wandering about) I downloaded the new patch and it all looks good and a lot of the typos are indeed fixed. However when I win/lose a game with a female character and it shows the Summary newspaper at the end, it's still saying HE instead of she. But that's the only place I found that error. Within the game itself during a campaign or anything else it is now correct. Thought you'd wan

Khefell I agree with you. The Chinese Military is on the move and that's not a good thing. I actually think that's an issue that ought to be brought into the forefront in the here and now since you mention it. *More issue prominence on Securing the Southern Border since Terrorists are using the easy entry into the states to get in. *Vladimir Putins stringent actions on freedoms in Russia should be a new issue.
Bill Frist, Republican Majority Leader in the Senate, Jeb Bush; Florida Governor, Rudy Guillani Former Mayor of New York City, George Pataki. Governor of New York. Newt Gingrich, Former Republican Speaker of the House. (can only see him in a VP slot). John McCain, Senator from Arizona. John Ashcroft; Attorney General of the United States, Elizabeth Dole, Senator North Carolina, wife of Bob Dole. She was also the past president of the American R
I just wanted to add an idea about the endorsements, If not in this patch that's coming soon, perhaps one later? I understand that the endorsements are going to be fixed in such a way that if my republican candidate gets the Union endorsement for example, it's going to affect their party support in a negative fashion. I fully agree with this. But if the endorsements are going to be fixed this way so that a democrat can only get so many endor
Game Support I happened to think how in the event of a rare occurance in the game, a electoral tie, what if instead of the computer just declaring a winner on the spot, what if an animation of the House and Senate comes up and a random vote of the states decides the election? Let the computer roll the dice state by state. So, if it's a tie in the House animation, let it go to the Senate animation to decide. Also, let a occurance of st
Cari Thanks so much. I got your e-mail yesterday. Appreciate all the time you put into answering my problems, which aren't problems anymore now that I understand what's going on. /Reagan's clone/
I've also found that if you are playing a created candidate, modify their stats so that they are closer to the opposing candidate. For the harder opponents I've found this to be very reliable. I finally grew a brain and looked at one of the candidates stats that I was playing on Campaign that I was having trouble to no end with and modified my characters stamina and that allowed me to match him/her at least as long as doing ads, traveling, etc. </fon
Cari Thanks. I had been wondering if that was how to do it. I know how to do attachments, but it's going to come to you through hotmail just so you know what to look for.I'm usually just hesitant to go into a game file to mess with it. I'll make the Subject pretty obvious for you so it's easy for you to look for. I had another no-warning crash last night in a campaign. Just shut off again. Fortunately, it did somehow save my last completed ca
Deaniac Thanks, I hope so too. So far so good on getting recognition to my problems. I'd be just happy beyond belief if the bugs I am experiencing were included in the next patch. (ahem, cough cough) Good Lord! I hope you're not getting a brand new computer just to play Pol Machine. I had to buy a new video card. *Cari- If you happen by on your post
Cari The only problems I have had so far was with that one game I had played. I'm only guessing here, but I'm willing to bet that problem will repeat itself when I play other combinations. I've been keeping a pretty keen eye on bugs and errors of that sort. Just to be clear so I don't confuse, Clinton showed up in text, not in picture, and even Bush has appeared (George W) in the text instead of me during that game. I'll play a few
I figured out what was happening aftter I took a moment to see what Billy Boy was up to. I gave a whole turn up to monitor him. At the end of a turn, I would get the newspaper saying what I did or what Clinton did. For some reason some of my Political assets were resigning. As I watched a little more closely, they weren't resigning..they were being killed off by BIll Clintons Hit Squad and it was costing me money and severely eroding my patience quick
Also watch out..Clinton employed Fixers against me ruthlessly. I had to keep going back and putting operatives in to replace the ones he killed. The big key for my plan was securing California from him. A few Good interviews on National media helped me too. By week 10 he had all the states Blue except for KY, Texas and TN. I had to really fight him to push back from oblivion. Those interviews I had put me over the top. On the exit polls
Scotticus41 You're looking for the Big Time Sim? I'd suggest looking into Superpower2 by GolemLabs/Dreamcatcher. It''ll be out around the middle of October. You can play any one of 202 Countries in the world and take control of that Country's Social, Economic, Military and Diplomatic quanties. You can even engage in combat, design your own combat vehicles, and get involved in Modern day current Issues/wars. Take a look at it at www.Go
Hi Cari Thanks for responding. No, I am not recieving any messages about corrupted files. It just shut off. I've been playing the game now for about a week or so without problem, at least until last night. I just tend to take more notice with my games and saw the errors (i.e. state missing, wrong topic, candidate in game, etc). I figured you guys would like to know. I'm not s
AzTiger I think they said somewhere on here that they took out the local interviews that you were supposed to do in the states. You can just do the national interviews when they come up. /Reagan's clone/
Hello Game support Got a couple of issues you ought to know about. I don't require a response as much, this is just FYI to help you with the next patch. Earlier this evening, I was playing a candidate I created of myself in Campaign mode. I have reached Bill Clinton so far. Up to this point, game play has been error free. First time I played, the game crashed, no warning, just shut down. I reload it, Play again. Instead of what Clinton doe
I agree with all the above..but get Condi Rice as Running Mate. She'll help you secure South and florida. Campaign Hard in MI,WI, and MN and PA to negate any losses from losing California. Hopefully you'll run Gephardt against the wall. My final insult to him was taking MO from him. His own home state. Secure the Christian vote, taxpayers, Business and Gun and you'll be fine.
I've had that problem. I figured it out. Find your candidate, press C to find him easy if you lose track of him/her, then click on the state you want to go to. See if that works. I think it's because you don't highlight your candidate it won't let you fly. But if it still does it to you then you may have a problem..Hope that helps ya out.
King Republican You aren't fixed into a static position, you can change either position, challenger and party, by clicking the edit buttons displayed next to the candidate names. I'm not really sure what else to tell you, but hope that helps you.
Wow I'd say a full scale revolt just broke out on this subject. Anyone want to help me pick up the battering ram?
Okay. I'm about burned out on this subject myself, so I will define "complex animations". I was rather hoping you'd know what I meant by complex animations. My definition of 'complex animation' with regard to previous mentioned games as an example: Grand Theft Auto, 1942, Rise of Nations and Morrowwind and Knights of the Old Republic.. All of these games have common denominators. They have "detailed" individual animations.
Frogboy Yeah, I can complain if I want. When I slapped down money for this game I bought the right to complain as a consumer. I DO have a "Direct X 9.0c" capable card. Here's the specs anyways. You can't really do anything to help me. I don't believe for a second it'll ever work on an Intel card like I and many others have. So my advice to the others: either refund the game, (unless you got it at wal-mart in which you are out of luc
Okay, Here's the thing. I bought this game earlier this week. Now I wish I hadn't. I can not only NOT return it for a refund at wal mart, I'm stuck with it. So, what to do? Well, Just to play this game I'm shelling out nearly 100.00+ dollars out of pocket to buy a NEW Video card. I'm mad as Black Hell having to do this because I am out big money. My only other alternative is to choke on the 20.00 and take a a hammer on the CD. I can't figure out why
