It took me three attempts before I beat Nixon. Even then, I edged him out in electoral votes, but lost by about one million in the popular vote. The problem with Nixon is that he can get endorsements with only 6 PC points vs. the typical 8 in early weeks. Plus, he spends money like mad, throwing up ads all over the country.
