There is no interview button, it's an inconsistancy between manual and game. There is no local media in general. The only interviews are the national camera ones.

^^^^^ Yeah, I mean that's it. You DO have two boxes, because that is the way the screen was designed. You can't just have one. You MUST be looking at the wrong one. Because while it is possible you get an error when entering the two names, your insistance that there is just one box is impossible.

Are you sure you aren't getting it confused with the box where you enter the player name, as in what you want to be called as a manager? Because that only has one box.

I was playing a game online as Reagan. Everything going fine, I got the early lead. I decided to build up some capital. After getting three, I opted to get a fixer to get rid of this damned heckler that was screwing over my campaign in Texas. I clicked on heckler, and instead of that on the clipboard on the side, there was a money man. Unless you do it on week 41, I have found it best to just use the precious capital on a couple of extra operatives - a much more effective tool. One smear merchant has virtually the same effect and endorsement would have on a state, and it's permanent.

As for your query about Alaska and Hawaii - their votes aren't any less valuble than any of the other states - I just normally forget about them. I normally play Republican (or as a Democrat to unlock more Republicans), and I can just replace the obligatory Alaskan votes with Idaho and other midwestern states. If you conduct your campaign sucussfully, though, as a Democrat Hawaii should just vote for you and the same for Alaska and Republicans.<
