I am finally up and running. Frogboy's unofficial patch unfortunately did not work. It did get the game to run past the intro but once on the menu screen it crashes to desktop with the first click on any option. I found a nocd.exe patch in another forum that eliminated the safedisk check and the game works perfectly now. The only problem is that the file is for version 1.00 only so the game can't be upgraded. Hopefully a future patch will fix this prob

I got the game at EB yesterday and after installing it it started through the opening intro and then crashed to desktop without an error message. I have updated all my drivers, Directx, etc. and still it won't work. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled several times in various directories (fonts can't be removed - what's up with that?) and tried it on two different CD drives. Any suggestions? System: Windows XP (SP1) AMD Athlon 2700
