Ok, all you down-and-out Republicans. You're fed up with Bush and his incredible expansion of government, reckless spending, and international adventuring. You're ready to vote for The Other Guy. This is the thread where you can come clean. Let's hear from you!

LastStand makes some very good points, which I echo. I'll add that the strategy remains the same as to the battle for the states - the battle is over the same states, no matter what. This is why historical campaigns would be important, because the states voted much differently in 1960, for example, than they do now. A Nixon vs. Clinton campaign under 1960 conditions would be very intersting. <img src="../images/smiles/surprised.gif" border=0
Ok, I'm already adding to my list: 6. Yes, add SOME third-party candidates, but not necessarily third-parties; 7. Perhaps a weather feature could be added, much like the question mark. That is, 2-3 random weather events in a campaign could affect campagining in a given week, like: Snow storm in Denver precludes ability to fly to California. Rain puts a damper on Bush event in Florida, speech effects negated; Labor strike shuts down Ha
Would really like to see voting results by state. I've played a number of times where the state was too close to call, going down to the wire, spent oodles of time and cash, only to see it pop up at the end with the other guy winning. OK, maybe he did a better job, but how close was it? That is added drama the game could use. Perhaps a little more analysis on why someone won or lost might be helpful, too. That could utilize mechanics already withi
Here's my list: 1. Historical Campaigns back to 1960; 2. Inclusion of debates; 3. On election night, I'd like to see the voting breakdown for each of the states; 4. More stats; 5. Parties should only be able to receive endorsements within range of their base. Also, I have a question about campaign mode. What are the game conditions? It just seems that it doesn't really matter who your opponent is, except that he
I had the same problem as Chappy44. I spent over two hours going through the Stardock rigamaroll downloading this and that to finally get to downloading the game, and Stardock states my serial number is invalid. I made sure to cute and paste it, so I know it wasn't anything on my end. So the 8/10 shipping date is an illusion, the boxes haven't arrived yet to send the game out, and downloading is impeded.
