Jeffery, how many times do you have to post your candidates? anybody who knows how to use notepad can create these on their own.

i'm bumping this. I liked the idea that someone mentioned of releasing a pack including all the candidates from historical elections back to 1960. Who else would people like to see?
There have been some good ideas here. I agree that it's way to easy to win endorsements from the wrong groups. Not only should it have a negative effect if, I as a Democrat win the endorsement of the National Gun Owner's Association, it should be harder to win in the first place. Maybe the candidates should be rated for where they stand on the issues prior to the game and the endorsements would cost more or less political capital poi

by opening them in notepad, yes you can. though i'd still suggest increasing the breadth of characters in one of the next patches.
I downloaded and ran the issue editor and interview editor, but now when the game starts, before the opening video i get the error message: "The game has detected possible corruption of core data files. Continuing with multiplayer disabled. Please re-install from the original CD or Stardock Central to start normally." And sure enought the multiplayer facility is disabled. Is this a bug or have i edited the core files incorrectly?</fo
I've been playing alot in campaign mode so as to unlock as many candidates as i can and i've been surprised to see that, what i consider to be, some pretty significant candidates are missing. I thought JFK would have been a shoe-in. Truman and Eisenhower too. I was keeping my fingers crossed for Stevenson, RFK and Barry Goldwater. They would have made for some fun 'what if...?' scenarios. Are there any plans to include an expanded character pa
great. i've placed my order. thankyou for your help. as much as it might seem that i don't, i really appreciate being able to have my questions answered immediately by a developer when i have a problem with a game. (Y)
Users who want to download The Political Machine after it becomes generally available (in the next couple days since it's already begun shipping) so, if i were to order a retail box copy online now it would still be classed as a pre-order?
it appears that all other totalgaming releases are available for electronic download through subscription aswell as a standalone purchase... why isn't this the case for TPM? other people have said a standalone d/l would be available by the end of the week
when will people who aren't subscribed to totalgaming.net be able to buy the game for electronic download from stardock?
