Oh, sorry for not saying who I was replying to in my earlier post. I was of course referring to the two people that used the terms "hack" and "bitch", which are, respectively, greywar and apdelong31. Apdelong31 appears to disagree with my statement about disagreement not equaling being a hack or bitch. I still think it is a fine statement but so be it.

I have to say that I have always found Ann Coulter to be very intelligent and articulate. I have not read her USA today piece so I can not comment on it, but I can say I have always been impressed with Ann Coulter when I have seen her appear on various TV talk shows or when I have read her books. Just because you do not agree with what she is saying does not mean that she is a "hack" or a "bitch".

I am not sure that the question of spending is a valid one with Bush's last term. He had a number of expenses that were out of the ordinary; like rebuilding the Pentagon, aid to NYC for the rescue and clean up of the WTC attack, military operations against two countries, increasing intelligence assets, setting up the Department of Homeland Security, increased security around the country, etc. I am not sure how much those items added to the increase i

Thanks Vincible, that was an interesting read. More interesting is that I just heard Congressmen Ford (D) mention on Fox News this morning at the DNC in Boston that John Kerry "was shoot a couple times" in Vietnam. So either top level Democrats do not know what Kerry’s war record is, which is understandable since he refuses to release his medical and military records, or they are trying to mislead the American people.

OK so one band-aid was on the scratch on his arm but what about the other two wounds? I have looked and asked many people for that answer and have so far come up with nothing. Aren't there any Kerry supporters that wonder why Kerry will not release his records? I say if you are not going to tell the whole story about your war record then shut up about your metals/ribbons.

He is a very good speaker and did a great job speaking at the DNC, but let's be real about the fact that the ideas in his speech were nothing new to the US political scene. He is too young to think about running for President in the near future either. I mean give him a break; he has not even been elected to the US Senate yet. Let him serve in congress for a few terms and see if he can do that job first.

Most of us have heard that John Kerry has three Purple Hearts, which he received during his 4 months and a few days in Vietnam, but can anyone tell me what his wounds were? (e.g. bullet through the leg, shrapnel in the back, bayonet in the chest, etc.). I have heard that the Kerry Camp will not release most of his military records, as President Bush has done, so no one really knows why he got the three Purple Hearts or his other metals. I thought it was great. Very fair in the amount to bashing it does to both guys and of course very funny. You have to watch it a number of times to pick up all the little things in it.

I am sorry I missed that interview. Sounds like it was just a short 5 minute sit down type of thing anyway. I would love to watch Moore being interviewed at length by O’Reilly sometime. Of course Moore would most likely never answer anything which might get old quickly.
