There are quite a few great games that I own that they dont make for a Mac, but every game they make for a Mac, you can play on a PC. That's the soul reason I have'nt switched to a Mac. I'll stick with Vista, considering it was free. My PC is almost 4 years old, and it runs Vista with no problems at all. As for "Vienna" I'm not sure im gonna pay for an update package, or service pack for Vista..

I'm having the same problem with WindowBlinds 5.5 on Vista Business. It is mostly happening to Windows Live Messenger. Everytime I close the contact list, and conversation window, and re-open them, they get much bigger each time in both dimensions. It happens to other program windows as well. I am using the Optix theme, and below is my system information.
Someone should make this into a commercial - HERE
If you paid for WindowBlinds 5, then you should be able to open Stardock Central (in Vista), register Windowblinds 5 through S.C. then make sure it checks for beta builds, it should prompt you to update WB5.1 to WB5.5 (beta) after restarting S.C.
HoverSnap Window Clippings 1.5 (x86) Both are free, and work perfect for me!
I was wandering if anyone knows how to remove the extra pixels shown in the pic below... They are on the top and bottom borders...
WindowBlinds 5.5 BETA seems to run better than WindowBlinds 5.1 on my XP machine. Applying themes is much faster than before. I LOVE the new blur when applying themes. It makes me want to switch themes more often.
I have been trying to upload a screenshot, and for some reason its not letting me... Although I chose both .jpg files (preview image and screenshot file) and made sure everything else was filled out several times, when I hit submit, I get this: This has been a problem for a while now... Any help would be great!
I am using a personal skin, and have my graphics set at 32 bit color. Here is my sysinfo -
I opened stardock central, and saw a new beta version for WB5, and decided to update. After rebooting, I hit the start menu, and saw some pretty nasty bugs... Here are some pics of the bugs in action... I guess I will have to go back to 5.01.006 til the bugs are fixed...
Thanks a bunch guys! That did the trick!
I have looked everywhere for someone who knows how to use this feature, and NO one seems to know... I know of 2 skins that use taskbar blur, so its not impossible. It doesnt make much sense that stardock would add this feature, but not tell anyone how to use it.. I have tried everything I could think of with Skin Studio, and still cant figure it out... Any help would be great!
Can someone that has used the taskbar blur option please tell me how to enable it? I am using the latest build of stardock skinstudio and Windowblinds 5.01, but it has no option for it!
LOL, it seems I am very blind... I didnt notice the wallpaper section.. Still not of much use to me, considering I know how to right click a pic, and set it as desktop background...
I noticed absolutely nothing with this update!
OK, I am having a problem with the final product of my bootscreen.... It is a simple bootscreen, and is correct format, and dimensions, and color depth and all that, but is turning out all green and blurry looking... Here is a pic of the actual preview you see by hitting the preview button.... <a href="http://album.wincustomize.com/image.axd?path=R43M9TfjxvEPQb3xZYgUgrP+/MqY9CwXJkibyaksemr2Gir/YnHba+Rgc+asE/o06P5QIn2KJrTtfUWeW5e1bA=="
Im having a problem with the z-order of window borders... They seem to be on top of everything including the cursor... Here is a pic of the problem in action... Link
The people experiencing that problem had a process called antiwpa.dll running on there computer... You can do a search for the file and delete it... Since its a process that the system is using, it may say its protected, so you need a program called unlocker - http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml The process antiwpa.dll makes windows think its running in safe mode, and WB5 doesnt work in safe mode... So... 1. DL
LOL, all is well now, it seems I had a process running that wasnt supposed to be running!
I cant even open WB5 to get the info from it! Every time I try to open WB5, the Reboot Now window pops up... (And yes I have rebooted several times) my computer specs are as follows AMD Athlon 2800+ ATI Radeon x950 pro 1.5GB PC3200 DDR 280+ GB SATA HD
Ok, I have just purchased Windowblinds 5, and am having a problem getting it to start! I uninstalled the old version, rebooted, and installed the new version... An activation window popped up, as well as a Reboot Now window... I tried to activate it, but it said the stardock server wasnt available, so I rebooted... When my computer rebooted, the activation window popped up again.. So I activated it successfully, and tried to open WB5, and it told me I
Maybe because of these statistics, WC can make this site more "firefox" friendly! Uploading photo's to my Photo Gallery isnt possible thru firefox, but rather internet explorer! Maybe they can look into making that feature available to firefox users?
Well, seems like one of the 2 companies caved! Nice to see things are running smoothly again!
Finally, a straight answer! So i guess that means WC wont make there 2000 customer goal this month! At least I can stop uninstalling and reinstalling all my web browsers now! lol
http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/68174 Does this have anything to do with WC not being accessable?
