Thanx guys, good stuff, and insightful topic, Myrrander. I also have seen more Kerry Yard signs in this Midwestern town of ~15,000. That's due mostly to the aggressive get out the vote effort by volunteers. Hey, voting for Kerry? You registered? Want a free yard sign?

Back on topic, I was wondering if those giving out bumper sticker reports could provide a general location or a description of the area they are in (even as simple as rural or urban) to assist other readers in getting a better feel for the provided report...

If you boil people down like you are a unborn child, we're all just clumps of cells, how 'bout that? I would say it's a clever way of desensitizing people to humanity to justify someone elses need.

Does it ultimately matter that much? If it did something would be done about it, but ultimately it has absolutely no effect or should matter to us, right? Does it matter when Americans are not answered when they ask of curiousities in plain site? I would think you would know. That is my point, there is a litmus test and precedent being implemented. This was what I was talking ab

This deserves the title of "Neo-con Hawk Manifesto." Every empire eventually dies, let's not go out as bellicose hubris...

Here in MO, the bumper sticker division line is between large trucks / suvs (W's and B&C) and economy cars (K&E).

Good stuff, Grim. I, of course, want to reiterate the point that nobody bothers answering questions concerning things we are seeing in plain sight, it is telling that people will just go along with,"it's nothing, really, ignore whatever that is."

Fire up those laptops and surf to your local search engine, try “Bush earpiece” in one search session and “Kerry Pen” in the other. Numerous sites will be listed, some showing frame-by-frame stills of Candidate Kerry pulling some mystery item from his pocket and unfolding it on his podium, others will show shots of Bush during the first and second debates with a mystery lump in the back of his jacket. Video hawks all ove

Wow, well I really hope this doesn't happen. I live in NJ, so I would get killed. Damn! That's why our Homeland Secuity is scewed up. Montana gets what $70 or something dollars per person! New York gets only a few. Well, at least we know Wyoming is safe with all the security dollars alloted to them...

If the Kerry campaign isn't worried about it, then why should you? I am certain that both Bush and Kerry aren't concerned with many of the things on my mind, I'm simply insatiably curious and disappointed that simple questions about certain images are glossed over instead of stoutly answered.

I'm not trying to prove any particular item present, I'm simply asking what it is I'm seeing. My personal best answer was that it could possibly be rumpled undershirts in the light tricking the eye in to believing a solid object present underneath. As for what I'm looking at in the Kerry video, I can't freakin' tell, but I'm not satisfied with the answer of it being a simple pen when looking at the action present. I'm just disappointed and fr

The bullet proof vest theory was the first some friends and I discussed, we eventually decided that it would be an odd bullet proof vest if it was, however, since most zip in the front and are not subject to the type of "trail" like that shown in the first debate or the bulge in the second.

...yep, it's been pointed out then: 1.)some have used these stories to try to smear the candidates, 2.)some have used those attacks to attack their fellow bloggers' "bias" 3.)some unknown spokesmen for the candidates camps have offered some lame explanation 4.) People like me go unfullfilled still wondering what the FOCK I was watching and wondering why the hell NO explanation is ever given. I can see the

I would like an explanation of what the object in question is. Is it the wrinkles caused by his undershirt? What? I'm not trying to allege anything here, but it's ridiculous that things in plain sight are given no address and questioners are laughed off as conspiracy theorists. I don't feel I received a satisfactory answer about Kerry's "unfolding" pen either...

I understand, particularly with our past exchanges. It was my opinion that was reflected in that comment. I acknowledge your point, totally valid, I thought that perhaps you too were somewhat let down by Blogic underperforming.

the war listing reason after reason, Are you talking about us enforcing the U.N. resolutions? Are you referring to the shoulder mounted ballistics? I think quite a few people did hear what the president had to say about there being WMD's in Iraq, I remember Colin Powell presenting a canister to people, and I even think Condi Rice stated something akin to Saddam posing an imminent threat. I would actually go scrounge for quotes, but I

Soicalize health care and acccidnets will still happen Absolutely, accidents will always happen. Bad things like 9 / 11 will happen again, we don't know at what point, but they will. Still, some believe restricting citizens individual freedoms and enacting police state policy is the best way to make us feel warm and fuzzy while we line up behind our C.I.C. to die like lemmings for paper tigers like Iraq. All the while we will claim t

Some of us think Bush had done an adequate job and that Kerry would be a poorer choice. I really think this is the "sticking" point that distinguishes our [Kerry and Bush supporters] opinions on the candidates when laying hot button social issues aside. I have a hard time believing your are sincere in your opinion, but I have to take your word for

Just because the media has chosen a single point of the 8 given.. Er, NO. The Media didn't accentuate that point so much so as the White House did before we went to war in Iraq, let's not play revisionist. When supporting stories of Saddam's attempts to gather materials for weapons faltered, the change in reason was sent from the White House that this War was about removing "bad man" Saddam. When some attacked this reason as not show
