DKane, I have that folder. A pile of GalCiv II ship designs, collected back when everyone was passing them around, sitting on a drive that has been copied forward through three or four machines since. I could not tell you whether one of them still loads. I have never opened them. Which is the bit I would push on. A copy nobody has opened in over a decade is not preservation, it is a bet that someone will care later and that the thing will still run when they do. Either half can fail q
