Don't Put On a Uniform, Put On a Bumper Sticker

Rick Santorum...Patriot

Acoording to GOP Senator Rick Santorum, you don't have to put on a uniform to serve your country. You just have to put one of his bumper stickers on your car;

"And yet we have brave men and women who are willing to step forward because they know what's at stake. They're willing to sacrifice their lives for this great country. What I'm asking all of you tonight is not to put on a uniform. Put on a bumper sticker. Is it that much to ask? Is it that much to ask to step up and serve your country?"

I'll be sure to wave down at him from my cloud in Heaven. IF he's able to see me through all the sulfur smoke

You really should try to read more....and correctly at that. You were NOT b/l for "calling" names. You were b'l because you would NOT post on topic even after being asked to stay on topic in my blog. You can b/l me if that is your wish. It's within your rights to do so.

No, I remember it as if it were yesterday...you made a statement that said I was calling for Scooter Libby to be thrown in jail, which I did not. I then called you King of all Liars...that's what you blacklisted me for.

Doesn anyone know if there's a way to search back through old posts?

Took a little diggin, but I found it;

Libby wasn't indicted for "outing" this CIA employee (not covert).

It appears that you truly do not have a good grasp on the english language. I did not say anywhere that Libby was indicted for outing anyone. I said he is alleged to have exposed a CIA employee. I did not say she was covert, nor did I say he was indicted for that. There is a lot of evidence that he identified a CIA employee to reporter(s) that they did not previously know to be a CIA employee. Whether or not that's a crime is not the point I was making.

You say Libby did something so heinious that he deserves to be in jail.

Congratulations! You are now officially King Of All Liars! Show me where I said that Libby deserves to be in jail.

Why are you so hostile towards truth and honesty?

You don't have any idea what document(s) Berger took. Yes, they were classified...he's admitted that, but you can't make an honest case that shredding documents is as "heinous" (your word, not mine) as giving classified information to reporters. He may not have violated the law in question regarding outing a covert operative, but he most certainly gave them information that was classified.

Number one it ain't smart to go on someone else's blog, belittlr their point and then call them a liar to boot. I will not delete your post. But you, yourself? Consider yourself gone jerk-off!

I don't have a problem with truth. But you have yet to say any. Classified documents, classified info....what's the difference? Oh I'm sorry I forgot you can not respond.

I don't know about the world you live in, but in mine a comment on a message board does not inspire anything resembling fear.
I'm the lion in the Wizard of Oz; I shudder in fear when drmiler or Guy comment.

I stand corrected. You are correct. Now that being said, maybe you should read this as it "might" give you some insight. Link

Ok, I read your "disclaimer";

Look I know that a lot of people find me offensive. You know what? I don't really care. I'm not here to make friends (although I have made some) or influence people! If you do not like my opinions or comments, then don't read them. It's as simple as that. When I'm wrong I try to admit to it as quickly as I can. But then that's so the lefty's can't take what I said out of context. So if you are expecting an apology from me for something I said that offended you.....don't hold your breath cause I don't do mouth to mouth.

Just because you post a disclaimer that you realize you are an offensive jerk, it doesn't absolve you of your actions. If people come to your blog and you treat them that way that's one thing. They asked for it. But to come on someone else's posts, be offensive and then say "if you don't like it, don't read it" is just ridiculous. People have a choice of whether or not to read your blog, where you're free to write whatever you want any way you want. People do not have a choice when you come on their blog.

Thank you for taking me off your blacklist, if I come on to your blog and comment I will disagree, but will do so tactfully. Please do the same if you want to comment on mine.

Sorry but it boils right back down to I don't care. When I make a comment it's "my" opinion which is what blogging is for the most part. Opinions. If they do not wish to read my opinion whatever it may be, then they shouldn't post in the first place. And btw.....it's not "really" a disclaimer. Like it said in the post, it was done in reply to someone else's thread that used two of my lines and basically took a poke at me.

After all, someone has to shore them up a little and defend them against people like you.

Why in the world would you think they need defended from someone like me?

That's pretty manly of you to take a cheap shot like that Rightwinger, and then not even defend it when questioned.
