Please Read this if your UI is black and painting slowly

If you have installed a pirate copy (AKA cracked) version of WindowBlinds 5, please be aware that the crack is faulty and WindowBlinds will cease to function correctly on your computer.

To fix this you just need to uninstall WB and if you wish install a purchased copy of WB, or the trial.

To uninstall, you can either wait for your computer to login, unload WB (either using wbconfig, display properties, or from a command prompt calling WBLOAD UNLOAD) and then uninstall WB.  Or you can boot into safe mode & uninstall WB from there.

Your computer has not been harmed in anyway.  Whoever made the crack did a poor job and patched out code that causes WindowBlinds to no longer be able to paint bitmaps (so title bars, borders, everything will be black).

Can someone Help me i have downloaded WB from here and it works but when i go to apply a theme it just turns into the old version of windows can anyonw hel its annoying.! >:(

Open WindowBlinds

Go to the system-tray (By the clock) if WB's is running and Double click on it's Icon

then Click on ABOUT WINDOWBLINDS

then Click on COPY TO CLIPBOARD

then paste it here.

I am under the impression after using WindowsBlinds a while in combination with the Windows 8 Metro skin that it tends to blur my IE9 Windows while moving a Window in MS Win 7 from the left to my right screen.  Since system stability is essential for me I decided to deinstall WB all together. No am not asking for my money back I just hope to get purchase a skin that is more like Windows 2008 R2 Server. I really am more Corporate Candy minded then the IMHO cartoonnesk skins you often find for WB.

My version is not cracked. I downloaded from Stardock after paying for a renewal to Object Desktop and I still get glitches. I waited a good while to get the windows 10 version. Now I will uninstall a try again later. Nothing to do with Pirates. Or people not paying.

OK I just noticed the date also. Seems Stardock are not on the ball at all. Posting very old crap onto a new program with a new operating system. 

Very disappointing.

Yes, probably time to lock as relevance 11 years later is a bit suspect.
